I just switched Physicians from Maryland to Virginia. After countless searches with my insurance I finally found one that I could go to. I immediately realized I forgot my insurance card when I went to my appointment, which resulted in some unpleasant back and forth at the front desk. That being said I was immediately brought back and seen by Dr. Purvi. When my appointment was finished they explained their policy on seeing the physical insurance card (which I understand) and very kindly allowed me to send them a photo when I got home. They helped to schedule my labs and I immediately was able to schedule my next appointment. I was never rushed and the Dr. made me feel that all my questions were viable and worth taking the time to answer. All in all, you really cant ask for more from your physician.

I switched to Dr. Walsh for my primary care from another very good doctor. The other doctor was, however, not as good a listener as Dr. Walsh, and the other docs practice was much more limited in staff, with often significant waits, both in scheduling and in keeping timely appointments. Dr. Walsh came highly recommended by another physician who also sees Dr. Walsh for primary care. Dr. Walsh is very skilled in assessment and treatment - thoughtful, astute, clear and thorough in communications. His colleagues in the practice and his staff are dedicated to patient care, including being very professional and responsive to patient inquiries.

One of the toughest things about moving out of the Arlington area was losing Dr. Walsh as our family doctor. He is an excellent practitioner, an easy person to talk with, and what anyone would want in a doctor.
