I really, really wanted to like this place and give it a good review, because I usually love my doctors, but I just cant. They never respond to requests for refills from my pharmacy. Never. Not once in my entire history with them (stuff like vitamin D). Theyre constantly running very behind (once waited 2 hours for an appointment). Their patient portal had a glitch that listed most of their patients as having a history of drug abuse (to their credit, I believe its been fixed, though it did take almost a year for that fix to happen). I came to them thinking, "finally! someone will get how significantly this level of pain is affecting my life and I can finally get help!" But theyd try some procedure and then have me come back in a month or three and never give anything to help with the pain in the meantime. Im not allowed to have NSAIDs and they did a test that showed meds like tylenol were not effective at all (something Id been saying, but i guess they didnt believe me). When I asked about what I should be doing for pain, they said "homeopathy and fish oil." I kid you not. I was dumbstruck when those words came out of the doctors mouth. They also had me try a hormone and, when I realized it was causing depression and then suicidal thoughts, I called them and told them what was happening and that I felt I had to stop taking it for my own safety, the office NEVER TOLD THE DOCTOR. I called them up with a sudden, severe, uptake in pain and the general attitude was kind of a, "what are we supposed to do about it?" reaction. For the record, I called my dentist as well since it was jaw related and they had me come in for an emergency appointment and found out I needed an emergency root canal. No one even mentioned my emergency phone call when I came in for my next appointment. The communication between front desk staff and doctors is practically nonexistent. I dont know if other pain clinics (or even other National Spine & Pain Centers) are any better but I do know that almost every experience Ive had with them has been pretty awful. The one and only good thing that came out of seeing them is they introduced me to my physical therapist, who is truly excellent, actually believes me when I talk about how much pain Im in, and is doing everything she can to help me.

Do not go here if youre looking for effective and timely treatment. Ive been treated horribly on numerous occasions and my case has been neglected by staff at every level. I would give zero stars if I could. I have been hung up on and been told bold faced lies by the "medical professionals" that run this office. I have been incorrectly billed on three separate occasions. I have visited four or five times and still have yet to even SEE the actual doctor because shes never around (I have repeatedly been assigned to the Nurse Practitioner instead). I have been told I would receive calls regarding results of tests multiple times and have never once been called. And the cherry on top is that the staff is unbelievably rude. Trust, do not waste your time.

Incredible results for my kid who was undiagnozed w lyme for 5 years. Through hell with pediatricians neglecting testing and symptoms. Not until we saw dr babcock did we have results. One year of treatments and we have our son bavk to almost normal
