I have always recommended Hillcrest Dental to friends and family, and will continue to do so. Dr. Buckwalter and the staff at Hillcrest Dental have always taken exceptionally good care of me. Regardless of what day Im in the office, all of the staff are personable and kind, and Dr. Buckwalter himself brings a personal and professional touch to his work. Just yesterday I had to get a filling done quite near close of business. The first shot of local wasnt quite perfectly aligned, which meant I still had some sensation in the area we would be working. Dr. Buckwalter, rather than rush through my procedure to get me out the door was happy to apply a shot of a different anesthetic to guarantee I didnt feel the procedure. That may not sound like much, but not every dentist has that kind of patience, much less at the end of a Monday! If you want some of the best service youll ever find in a dentists office, then you should definitely be going to Hillcrest Dental.

The new office is very pretty. It is incredibly loud and noisy as there are no walls between patient chairs only a few partition segments to provide very limited blockage of view of all other patients. I could hear every conversation throughout the entire office. This includes financial and other sensitive information and a collection of three to six employees near the front desk who were conversing while not working on patients at that moment. Separate from the dentists work light the ceiling lights are pretty but entirely too bright to have to stare at. I was surprised by the new ultrasonic water wand which felt like a grinding machine rather than a cleaning machine. It was so annoying and such a surprise that I had to stop the process to find out what this was. The exterior ramp and sloping curb needs bright yellow paint or an extension of the railing to avoid tripping when people leave the office. I guess the one star was generous. Bob Muir

I couldnt be any happier with this group! They are kind and caring and Dr. Starkey did the absolute right thing in selling to Dr. Buckwalter. Even though they have moved into a very high tech world it seems flawless and very convenient for the patients sake. I can look at my medical information, my xrays, and even made my next appointment right there in the exam room! I heard Dr. Buckwalter helping an elderly gentleman and he was just as gentle and kind with him as he could be. My hygienist Kelli is awesome. Shes personable and for someone I only see twice a year I feel like we have a great relationship. Keep on doing what youre doing, Hillcrest Dental!!!

LOVE this dental practice!.....Dr. Buckwalter and all his staff have expertise coupled with a wonderful sense of humor!....(which everyone needs when going to the dentist).....They are so genuinely friendly and caring....Not to mention Dr. Buckwalters incredible chairside manner".....He explains everything so you know exactly what is going on with your dental issues and what the options are as well as visually seeing your xrays (I love visual aids !)....And then when he does the procedure, you feel he is very adept at his craft!.....Cant say enough good things about this practice!!!!

I live in Atlanta so this is not my normal dentist. It was easy to ask them on their website if they would accept my insurance provider, and they had an time slot to get me in within a week of my email. Once I got in, I was treated well, and the procedure was quick (especially for 4 fillings) and painless. Dr. Buckwalter was nice and helped explain everything to me, not just about my procedure but also tooth health in general. Took an hour and I was done. Very happy. The out of pocket payment was pretty expensive, but Im not sure if that was an insurance issue, or their pricing.

Dr. Buckwalter gives great care to patients through getting the latest innovative products to make your dental work experience easier. No cutting corners. He thoroughly explained the process of getting my crown and is going the extra mile to get insurance to cover as much as possible. I HATE even getting my teeth cleaned and to face more is hard for me but he and his team work great with your emotional well being during the process. His team seems happy and well adjusted. I highly recommend his practice.

Dr. Buckwalter came highly recommended and I was not one bit disappointed. He gave me thorough explanations of my X-rays, like I had never experienced with any other dentist. Kelly, the hygienist, was very detailed and gave me an excellent cleaning and exam. The entire staff were extremely kind and welcoming . I highly recommend Dr. Buckwalter and his staff.

Our entire family goes here and we couldnt be happier. Before an appointment, my 8 year old told us, "I love going to the dentist. Dr. Ryan is so nice!". My experience as a child was quite different. :) The staff there is friendly and caring and the doc is very knowledgeable. I would not consider using another dentist.

Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Even though I was technically a walk in, they took me immediately and assisted me in figuring out what my insurance was. The doctor has a great sense of humor and the staff all seemed to be very positive.
