I did not do any visits prior to picking a pediatrician for my newborn. With so much going on in my pregnancy, I figured that I would just line up a pediatrician, and if I found that it wasnt working out, I would just switch. Well, I am so thankful that my OB recommended this office! My positive experience began when Dr. Curry came to the hospital to see my newborn twice. She was so kind, patient, and professional. I immediately felt at ease with my decision. Our appointments have all been with Dr. Smith since the initial meeting with Dr. Curry at the hospital, and I absolutely love Dr. Smith as my childs pediatrician. She knows her stuff, and she doesnt make me feel like a complete idiot for my numerous questions. She has an awesome touch with my baby, and gives off the appearance that she really enjoys seeing my child when she comes into the office. I could not ask for a better experience. Plus, they are so responsive to after-hours calls. I am so happy with my decision.

Came to Dr. Currys office on a recommendation from a co-worker when we moved to Norfolk from the Peninsula. I am wholly impressed by the quality of the service. My life is busy and they get me in and out, and have appointments after 5pm in order to accommodate my schedule. The quality of care is good, and the staff is polite and considerate. I was particularly impressed with their bedside manner when she had to have a throat swab for strep. This is something no child enjoys, and at 6, it can be scary. They allowed the time for me to calm her and then eventually restrain her, and performed the swab with as much speed and caring as I could hope for. Thank you!

I highly discourage parents from taking their children here. Between waiting for scheduled appointments, dingy waiting room, no communication about bills that piled up for months, and "claiming" that my daughter had another form of insurance when we KNOW she didnt, this office is a disaster. It sad because many of the other staff that took care of our daughter there were very nice but overall its been a nightmare. I recommend looking elsewhere.

Dr. Curry has been a wonderful doctor. My Children have been going to Dr. Currys since we moved here three years ago. She is very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to about anything. Her office staff are kind and caring when my child is sick.. One even knew my daughter when we were out in town. They make time to listen. I dont feel like just another patient. Dr. Curry cares about the whole child.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Curry since she was 3 years old (she is now 19). Dr. Curryscare has been impeccable. Appointments are readily available-especially sick child appointments. She is patient and kind. I was extremely happy when she added another doctor and an NP.I have recommended many friends to her office.

We went to this practice for the first time a couple weeks ago with our newborn and loved it. We were recommended to Dr Curry by several Doctors at DePaul hospital. The office is very old and dated but the staff is extremely nice and friendly. The Dr was so sweet and caring really like her a lot. highly recommend it!

We waited an hour just to have a flu shot that took less than 2 minutes and they just sent us on our way. No information. No courtesy or apology for the hour wait. The office was over filled and the staff was clearly stressed.
