My husband and I went in November. We both had bronchitus (I also have asthma as well). We did not have a babysitter, so we had to bring our 3 little ones along with us. It took us over 2 hours in a doctors office room with 3 little ones. The doctor we were seeing said that we were just fine, and asked me "Why are you here again?". I told him I wouldnt be here unless I was sick. After we had been there for 2 hours, we finally saw another doctor who said we both had a sinus infection and bronchitus. They finally gave us prescriptions. In Dec., I went to the doctors office to pay the bills off. Well, I was told the amount to pay my bill off (which I paid) and was told I had to wait for my husbands bill to be received in the mail before I can pay it. I called in Jan. to make pmt arraingments and was told I could not. I received in the mail that my bill was sent to collections. I also called today to find out that even though I was told my bill was paid in full, that it was not. I have never paid a co-payment with my insurance company, and I have to pay one when I go there. The only thing I do like is that it stays open long hours. Only one doctor do I like, but I can never see him. The people in the office are not as friendly as in other places. They have too many people working there, therefore you call to talk to one person they say one thing, then you talk to someone else, it is a different story. My husband and I are not planning on going back.

I had a terrible experience the 1st time I went. The doctor wouldnt even talk about the problem I was there for. Wanted blood tests, so had to go back in for that. Wanted me to come in and talk about results - I didnt - I can get results online. The 2nd time I was there (yes, I tried again) and got a resident who only wanted to ask me the questions that popped up on her computer, she would input the answers and ask another question based on what the computer told her to ask. Never once did she listen to what I told her, only heard my yes and no answers. She diagnosed me with some rare disease (and again more blood tests even though the problem couldnt have been diagnosed with blood tests). I have to agree with others on here. They are a money making machine. You get charged the same whether you see a real doctor, a resident, or a nurse. AND you have to go in for appt. after appt. after appt. instead of getting help the 1st time. Its time for me to get my prescriptions refilled and I know that they will make me come in, talk about nothing, come back in for blood tests and again for results. INSTEAD I am looking elsewhere OUTSIDE of Front Royal.

Please read this until the end, as I have edited it since posting. Dr. David Leng has ordered many expensive tests, which proved to be unnecessary. Now I am stuck with extremely high medical bills from his misdiagnosis. Seems to me to be a huge money making machine for the medical industry, with not much true concern for patient health. I have shuffled to others in this practice and am not impressed. My advice; go somewhere else. I am so not happy with the practice that I would give zero stars, but to be able to post this I was required to give at least one star. 6/23/2016 I was contacted by the business manager, and FRFP has tried , much to their credit, to make this better. Promises to talk to the doctor doing his residency, etc. and giving me options on another doctor. I will follow up when I do visit the practice again. Keep posted.

Save your time and money! I needed a $4 prescription. When I made the appt I was told the first office visit was $I20.I am self-pay, pay in full at time of service and get a discount. I had blood work done in the office and paid that as well before I left. A week later I receive a bill from the lab so I call the Practice only to find out I still owe the lab. Family Practice charged me $174 for an office visit to see a NURSE PRACTIONER! That DOES NOT include any blood work or lab fees. I had to return 5 days later for a follow-up. Follow-up to what? That was another $120 office visit to see someone else that isnt even a medical doctor. All said and done....$290 for a $4 prescription and a stick in the arm and still have to find a real doctor.

I went for a complete physical with blood work. After a few weeks I called and asked when I could get the results of the blood work. I was told the Doctor wanted me to come back in to discuss the results with me. (They never call me but something is so significant in the results that I have to go back in?) A return visit isnt necessary for results, at least not in the last 40 something years. But it is an opportunity to bill for another visit versus talking over the phone. So now I have to make another appointment, take off work again, and go in. After this I will not be back to this facility.

People seem to forget physicals are humans too. Ive had to wait before, its frustrating, yes. Ive also been the patient (on more than one equation) who was very ill and the doctor put in the time needed to figure out what was wrong and help me! Im sure that messed up the doctors schedule, but my health mattered more to them. I love the care and consideration I get when there. Katie Winter, Dr. Winter, and Dr. Kerns are my go to.

I wasnt happy with a Physician assistant who looked at my teenage daughter or my own first visit with her, but there was very little wait and the staff help and nurses were nice and accommodating. However my second visit was with Dr. Dennehey, who was very pleasant, compassionate and the health issue was immediately taken care of, altogether it was a positive experience. I would definitely go back to see Dr. Dennehey.

Everyone was very nice from beginning to end. The nurse actually took her time and checked a couple things out and got a good history. Dr Moore was great and thorough. I felt like he listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions in detail. First clinic I not once felt rushed and actually felt like I got helped, I had to review. Thank you.

I have found the staff to be on the rude side as well. Also, I needed to get my 5 year old in for 2 shots or she couldnt go back to school and instead of accomodating us, they were going to make us wait 3 days. I had to take her to the Health Department. Im switching doctors at this point. My friend says that Skyline is wonderful.
