Dr. Lambas practice is not that I expected! The staff are so impersonal and do not answer your questions. My wife and I took our one-week old baby to Dr. Lambas office in Chantilly just last Wednesday for the baby one-week check up and to get the doctor check the babys eyes as she seemed infected. First encounter, they never told us they dont take Tricare before we showed up. We paid cash, $110. Not a problem thus far. The Doctor prescribed medicine for our daughter because the baby girl had eye infection as we had assumed. After doctor Lamba was done examining the baby, the staff asked us which CV pharmacy we prefer. We told about a location convenient to our residence. A few hours later, I went to pick up the meds only to be told by the pharmacy staff that there was no medicine under her name. What would I do as a father? I went to all the CV pharmacies in the region but to no avail! The next day, My wife and I called Dr. Lambas office; It was closed because they open only a few days in my location, Chantilly!! Today 06/26/2015, I called them in the morning to find out they dont open till 1400hrs! Fine! While at work, I called them at 1405hrs. I asked to talk to the Doctor but he wasnt there. The personnel at the counter told me she would call me back in five minutes. I gave it 40 minutes before I called again to give her benefit of the doubt. The second time she told me Dr. Lamba was busy! I asked to kindly ask him to call me but he never did nor did she call me with something. I called back asking her to at least tell Dr. Lamba to have him send the prescription to the pharmacy in my neighborhood and my daughters eye is still looking bad. This is a baby who had cried constantly as her eyes have bothered her! She said she get back with me and she never did! At this point, I was very frustrated because I am at work and I havent, at this point, got any service I had paid for and more importantly my baby girl is in dire need of the meds! I called back when she said the Doctor told her that my daughter didnt need any meds when he himself had assured, during the visit, that when we apply the prescribed ointment, the baby will be relieved! Now it is 1600hrs, I havent received any call! I kept calling but no one had picked up the phone! I kept hearing a recorded message saying that the office is close and I have to call another number. I gave a few minutes then called back. At this time, someone picked up the phone and told me that Dr. Lamba is busy and cant talk to me. Regarding the medicine, there is no news about it because Dr. Lamba is busy with customers. Now, imagine how anyone would feel! I kept calm but told her, I would stop by. 40 minutes later, I stopped by. The staff was nervous when I showed up. I politely asked them to tell Dr. Lamba that I was that and that I needed to talk with him! a personnel went inside without saying anything and came back. She didnt say anything. I remained standing up. They didnt even apologize nor ask me to sit down! Then, she said: "oh by the way, here is the prescription”. I told how come she never communicated that with me and that why she didn’t send the prescription to the pharmacy I had asked her to send it to because it is close to my residence! She asked me to go ahead and do it myself and that she wouldn’t do it! I was like really?? I asked politely one more time that I needed to talk with Dr. Lamba. She went inside without responding and came back simply saying that the doctor would NOT see my till after 1800hrs. I was shocked and simply replying that the doctor would hear from the BBB then left. To sum up, I do NOT recommend this office and this staff including the Doctor who was nice and friendly during the visit which he was paid cash for anyway but after that forget it! I couldn’t believe that this type of mediocre service is taking place in the US and in an up scaled neighborhood! Any recommendation as to what I should do beside reporting this incident to the BBB?

I tried to make an appointment for my son, who has thrush. school called and said he would need to be picked up. Ritu Dang a front desk receptionist proceeds to tell me that She will put my child on the schedule for the 15th and call me back is there are any cancellation. Mind you i am calling on the 8th regarding an urgent visit. Why would you have a child whom is not even 1 years old walk around for a week with this type of infection.

My appt was at 3:30 I got here on time they put us in the room we waited for 30 minutes for the doctor nothing happened. I decided to go to the front desk and ask the secretary what time the doctor supposed to see us the secretary said oh let me tell the doctor. The doctor was seen another patients he didnt even we were in the room waiting for him. The doctor its really professional but their stuff get overwhelmed when theyre busy.

I had a fulfilling experience just two days ago at this doctors office. They did not make me wait more than 10 minutes. The doctor was gentle with my new born baby, and believe it or not, she never even cried while being examined. The doctor kept soothing and calming her throughout. The staff was also adept and spanish speaking. I really really liked this doctor and recommend him.

I have a 2y old son and was referred by my friend who goes to this practice for over 7 years now. I am very happy that I went. The doctor is very professional, great bedside manner, talks to kids , explains problems in detail . I will refer my other friends too. Thank you Dr Lamba
