UPDATE: I received a call from the new office manager at MVC after she saw my original review, below. Shes the new sheriff in town and based on our conversation has been working very hard to rehabilitate the practice. She says the issue with vet turnover has been resolved, though there will always be some turnover with the techs as they are mostly students. Based on our conversation I believe she is trying very hard to fix the historical issues with the practice, and I hope she succeeds The fact that she called me is a positive sign that she cares about customer service. Im upgrading my review to neutral (three stars from two) based on her call. If MVC is convenient for you and you are in need of a vet give them a try and leave a review here on Google. If the new manager is successful she deserves to be rewarded for that with honest reviews. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: We took our animals to Marshall Vet Clinic for years, but finally got frustrated and now go elsewhere. The biggest problem is staff turnover. It is rare for a vet or technician to even last a year, and the constant churn negatively affects the quality of care. I complained to the management about the turnover and asked for an explanation, but didnt really get one. High turnover in any business is usually because of low pay, the boss is a jerk, or the general work environment is poor. It is never a good sign. I dont know what afflicts this clinic, but something is wrong, and until they fix it I cant recommend them. I wont comment on any specific vets or techs, because by the time you read this they will all be different. Everyone that passed through seemed to genuinely care about our pets, but some were not terribly competent. They arent bad people and they mean well, but that isnt what I pay for. If you use this clinic dont ever expect to receive a return call when promised, because you wont get it. You will have to call back to get test results, etc. Dropping the ball seems to be the only consistent feature of their service.

I started going to Marshall Vet Clinic last year after unsuccessfully trying out many of the small animal vet clinics in my local area. Marshall Vet Clinic was the ONLY vet office that my dogs felt happy and comfortable even walking in the door, and stayed happy throughout the visit! I was amazed since my dogs would always be shaking and trembling and fearful at all the other vet clinics. At Marshall I found the vets were exceptionally kind, gentle, incredibly sweet to my dogs, and very knowledgeable. They knew what they were doing, and how to fix whatever was ailing my dogs. Believe me, Ive spent a lot of wasted money and time with other vets that were clueless, or handled my dogs like they were cheap material! Plus the support staff at Marshall was very helpful and friendly. All big pluses for me. I like that they have a variety of vets, including a holistic vet, and really listen to the owner. And treats are always handed out, much to the delight of my guys. They absolutely have my business now. It doesnt matter that they are almost an hour away from me - they are the best, and thats what my dogs, and I, deserve.

Dr. Cole and her staff are absolutely the best! They are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. I have received exaggerated diagnoses from other vets, only to find out the issues were not that serious from Dr Cole. Everyone there is very caring and concerned for the welfare of your pet. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Wonderful practice!! The staff is amazingly gentle and can even get a cat to hold still without trauma for blood tests! Im so grateful to have a chance to work with these kind and well-educated staff members. I wouldnt let any other practice work on my OWN personal pets, either; these guys are the TOPS!!

Doctors, nurses and staff are all wonderful people! My pup feels very comfortable going. The are reasonably priced and work to get your fur baby in for last minute appointments. They treat my boy like family and are very knowledgeable and responsive when you call in with questions. :)

I LOVE this veterinary practice, and will never go anywhere else as long as I live locally. The vets are fantastic as are the techs, and care and follow up is always top notch. My dogs have had several surgeries here with great results. I highly recommend this practice.
