Over the past 9 years, Ive had 3 dogs (2 boxers, 1 english bulldog) and 2 cats go to CVVC and Ive had 2 of the 3 dogs use the boarding service. Boarding services: Ive used the boarding services extensively and know the staff well. I used to travel quite frequently for work and Sixx and Morgan have always been attentive and loving with my dogs. I trust them without question or hesitation to care for my fur babies. They really do care for your pets on a personal level and go above and beyond in that care. Grooming services: I usually get my dogs bathed before I pick them up from boarding. Its nice to bring them home smelling fresh and fragrant which lasts several days at home. They always come out clean and happy. However, I have also just done a day drop off for a grooming service. Its nice because, again, the proof of vaccinations are already onsite and I do not have to provide proof in advance of vaccines via fax or email to a 3rd party groomer. And if they require an updated shot, they can have it done onsite as well. With both an English Bulldog and Boxers, they can get pretty dirty and smelly. Theyve also never had a cut/bloody nail and seem to be fairly priced if not cheaper than the local PetStore groomers. Veterinary services: I really enjoy the fact that the kennel and vet are linked together. My dogs have been sick while in boarding there and theyve been able to get them medical attention and prescriptions to help without any additional hoops to jump through or work on my part. They always have called and asked me before doing anything though; dont think theyll just make decisions without your input first. The rotation of veterinary doctors that can see your pet can sometimes be disheartening because not 1 sole doctor has personal history with your pet. However, they all have been familiar with how to approach them when they are nervous and scared. I mean, not many dogs enjoy getting their temperature checked (right!?), so it takes a person with special care to make them feel at ease when doing so without getting nipped at. The overall list of services Ive had done are both spay and neutering as well as all shots, grooming, boarding, regular check ups and emergency visits when dogs eat things mechanical things like a computer mouse or having continual upset stomach. Ive had no complaints about any of the work done on my pets. I also have called in and got recommendations and advice from the vet whenever my pets do something unexpected (like eat expired Tylenol out of the trash can). So you dont have to always bring your pet in; you can call simply to get advice on next steps if youre unsure of what to do. Summary: I cant speak highly enough of the boarding staff at Cumberland Valley. If you need your pet boarded, these are the people to use. The veterinary and grooming services have also been great. In the end, its your pet. You are the one who has to make the decisions as to what your pets needs are and how to address those needs, but the team at CVVC have given me consistent advice over the life of 5 different animals. I have no plans to change service providers.

These guys are AMAZING! My family has taken pets to Cumberland Valley for years, but my recent experience has proven again that they are awesome. Last Monday, I took my 14 year old cat, Moses, in. He was showing signs of several potential illnesses. The staff was very kind and patient while explaining everything to me. Moses stayed with them for 2 days and was very well cared for. They were incredibly patient while explaining to me how to give my newly diabetic kitty insulin. But what really proved to me that they are truly caring people was the phone calls Ive received from Dr. Dolan and Dr. McKenna, to give me updates on Mo while he was in their care, and since hes been home to check in and see how hes doing and if I have any concerns. I love that they care enough to make those calls and it means a lot that they took the time.

I began bringing my dogs to CVVC a few years ago for their wonderful boarding and doggy daycare program, but I was so impressed with Sixx and Morgans knowledge and genuine caring about my animals, that I transferred my vet care there as well. I have since brought nearly a dozen dogs to them, most of which were sick or elderly, and I have been 100% happy with the care and genuine concern that they have shown. It is difficult to find a vet who loves your pets as much as you do, but CVVC is that place for us. They have gotten us through several emergencies, and I dont know what we would do without them. The techs and vets listen to my concerns, and give me time to explain everything, and the ladies at the front desk give my pups treats! I highly recommend CVVC, I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I am giving this three stars because I do really like this vet clinic and all the vets and tech staff we have met with to this point have been great, until today. We brought our dog for her yearly visit and she was seen by Dr. Tia Perry. I will be certain to request anyone besides this woman for my animals from now on. Our dog, admittedly, gained more weight than we thought, but Dr. Perry was extremely rude about it and made several passive aggressive digs about our dog during the visit. She was extremely unprofessional. All the other vets weve met there have been very kind and have never tried to make us feel like bad pet owners. I am extremely disappointed with Dr. Perry and her association with this clinic.

I was personally impressed when making the appointment for the complimentary health assessment for our newly acquired family member Susie (from H.S. of Washington County). I was unable to make the trip but my wife did with Susie and found the facility to be very inviting and the staff friendly and professional (especially the veterinarian Dr. Stemley who had previously met our little girl). Ginny was so impressed that she mentioned if we lived in the area of Cumberland Valley Veterinary Clinic she would have no qualms about having them as our veterinary practice. A big and sincere thank you to Cumberland Valley Veterinary Clinic from Ginny and Willard Turnbow.

This place is terrible. I took a pup I recently rescued in and was told to try a sample for free and then got charged $40 for something my dog didnt need. My little girl has been abused by previous owners her entire life and the vet had the nerve to call her a chicken over and over because she was shaking and scared. I was then called to ask why my next appointment was made... stupid! Then they charged me for 2 shots when my dog only had one. This place is so unprofessional and the staff is stupid in my opinion. They didnt even know she was a Dachshund the most obvious breed. I will never bring any animal in this vet again.

I have owned and run a kennel and rescue for almost 5 years and CVVC is the only vet that would give us a price break in washington co. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable, the vets are hard working and knowledgeable as well. Their prices are the best in town, with the best office hours, and a large amount of reservations to give to their customers. I recommend them to all of our customers and have even thought to give the ones that go to CVVC as discount at our kennel, that is how strongly I believe in the level of care and committment that CVVC staff and owners have shown us in the past 5 years.
