Previous to Best Friends we took our cats to a larger local multi-vet practice, but left when we became increasingly dissatisfied with the level of service and staff turnover there. Best Friends is a one-vet shop, there are no problems with continuity of care here. Dr. Vaughan is very thorough and caring and a good communicator, and she clearly keeps up with the latest science and research. She and her staff are every bit as professional as any good people doctor. The office and exam rooms are always spotless and well maintained, they return calls in a timely fashion, and are generally very well organized. Our cats are getting older and have some tricky health problems. Dr. Vaughan is patient and persistent in working to find the best ways to help us manage their health. The only negative (and it is minor) is that being a one-vet operation it can sometimes take a bit longer to get an appointment, and they are only open two Saturdays a month. This is to be expected - and Im happy they have Saturday hours at all - but it would be great if Dr. Vaughan could find another excellent vet to partner with and expand her practice.

Dr. Vaughn is great, as are all of the techs. We have been taking our two dogs (ages 5 and 12) here for over a year now, and have been through everything from routine check-ups to more invasive procedures requiring anesthesia. We have no complaints whatsoever, and they have given us personalized, professional care each time. Would recommend Best Friends Animal Clinic to anyone!

I took my dog on vacation with me and she ate something that made her really sick to her stomach. I called Best friends animal clinic and brought her to Dr Vaughn. I wasnt sure what plant she ate. Dr Vaughn checked her and stopped the stomach ache and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. Thanks So Much Doralee and FeeBee.

My dog "Baxter" has been a patient of Dr. Vaugns since he was a puppy. I have always been pleased with the service I have received from Dr. Vaughn and her staff. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vaughn to my friends and family who are in need of a Vet to care for their furry friends!
