I went to see Dr. Wilt when my dog Max got very ill. He was an old dog and he was in very bad shape so I didnt want to drive him too far (I normally go to a different vet in Hedgesville). Max was beyond help and he needed to be put to sleep. This was a very sad and emotional thing for my family and I and Dr. Wilt and his staff handled the very delicate and difficult situation with an incredible level of caring and compassion - I could not have asked for anyone better to help my poor puppy and me through such a bad situation. I have another dog and she will now be going to see Dr. Wilt because he is a very kind and caring veterinarian and it is obvious he isnt just trying to charge for whatever he can like many vets seem to do. I would recommend Dr. Wilt to anyone who wants a compassionate care giver for your furry loved ones, as he seems to be in his profession for the right reasons.

I had to put my dog to sleep and called the Ranson animal hospital. It was hard making this a 5 star experience simply because putting your best friend to sleep is anything but a 5 star experience. But he was old and in pain and I couldnt stand seeing him suffer. As far as the hospital is concerned, they are super nice folks, were very sympathetic, the doctors understood what our family was going through with losing our dog and and all and they were reasonable with what they charged. I would recommend them.

No one knows how to use the computer there. Took 20 minutes to pick up a prescription and had to leave without it. The price for it changed 3 times.
