My limited experiences with physical therapy have all been exactly the same each time, and this location is no different. Physical therapy at its best can transform your life for the better, while at its worst its simply one of the biggest rip-offs in our medical system today. Let me be clear; there are some fantastic physical therapists employed at this location, who take great pride in their work. However the system itself is a joke and needs to be overhauled. Therapists that are continually rotating back and forth between multiple patients at a time are not able to render the level of care the patient deserves. Its also common practice to have a different person working with you every time, resulting in minimal consistency in your treatment protocol. Many of the therapists at this location often appear stressed out, burned out and bored with their jobs. I cant imagine hiring a personal trainer at a gym that walks off each time after they tell me to perform an exercise, or goes away to talk to their friends or co-workers during our session together. Yet, despite paying 2-3 times more than a personal training session for physical therapy, this is exactly the culture by which most physical therapy clinics operate. Additionally, youre often seeing a physical therapy asst. or a physical therapy tech who has absolutely no qualifications and no business treating patients. This location has banners hanging up touting itself as the best in the area, which is mind boggling to me. Its all about the benjamins baby. Im sure my comments will alienate me from some of my peers, as I also work in the health and wellness industry. That being said, many of these same people know deep down Im telling the truth.

Ive never seen anyone pass themselves off as medical professionals while caring so little for their patients. A family member with a torn rotator cuff had to go here for her physical therapy. At first, they refused to give any kind of pain medication to a person whos in pain every day, and all they did was refer her to a Sentara pain management clinic. The doctor then wrote this particular family member a script for a pain medication that they have on file as causing a bad interaction with other medications that this person takes. They couldnt care a less about you or your health. They just want your money. Quacks, frauds, scam artists, charlatans, and BS hucksters all accurately describe this place. Dont go here if you care about yourself at all or have any self respect. They will not help you.

This location is in one word "AMAZING!". They all work really well together, are super friendly, and most importantly they really helped me feel better! The therapist are really engaged and extremely knowledgeable. The front office staff was friendly and professional and explained my insurance to me thoroughly. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone with PT or OT needs. If you want top notch care and world class service, go here!
