I tore my ACL and meniscus and was prescribed physical therapy after the operation to repair. Im also an athlete working to return to contact sport. Living in the city and working full time, I needed a therapist that was close by and would provide the attention needed to ensure a timely recovery. Harbor Physical therapy met all of these requirements and then some. I was scheduled for a preliminary review and diagnosis within minutes of calling. Every visit Ive been recieved propmtly and professionally. Ive worked with a fully certified and knowledgeable for EVERY visit, all of whom consult each other independently about my own personal circumstance to ensure a best path forward is developed. All of the therapist were extremely gracious with their time and took a personal interest in ensuring I reached my goals, and then some. Ive been working with Lora and Amanda for near 5 months now and have seen tremendous recovery very quickly. Theyve tailored each training session to my needs, addressing both my long term goals and current status when developing their plan. Long story short, whether an athlete working to recover from an injury or a senior looking for rehabilitation, you will be seen on time and in a professional manner. As long as youre willing to invest the time and energy, the team at Harbor Physical Therapy WILL help you gey back to 100%.

I first came to harbor physical therapy for a knee injury that no one could quite figure out prior to coming to harbor PT. Ive worked with all the wonderful PTs- Nelson, both Amandas and the last few months with Emily, as well as the PT aide Sam. I recommend them all as they are all excellent. Emily has truly gone above and beyond in figuring out what was causing my knee pain of over 6 months. Together we tried strengthening my gluts and hips, massage, various strengthening and stretches, and Emily never once gave up. Which I am very thankful for. Emily then added dry needling to my gluts to help release possible trigger points that were causing my knee pain. I am in healthcare but did not know much about dry needling prior to trying it. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT and Emilys skills. After a few weeks of dry needling in combo with strengthening the pain finally began to subside- and it stuck! The relief and joy I feel in being able to slowing increase my activity to biking, using the elliptical, walking, and yoga is beyond words. I am so thankful for Emily and all of the amazing staff at Harbor PT for the support and determination they gave to me. You guys rock! I will always appreciate each of you. -Sophia

I have had an excellent experience at Harbor Physical Therapy. I separated the AC joint in my shoulder playing rugby almost a year ago and thought the injury had healed properly. Months after the injury I was having issues lifting weights, sleeping on my side and general soreness. I finally decided I needed to see a physical therapist. When I was screening companies I wanted a place that had fully licensed DPTs, was close to Federal Hill and had a reputation for a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been at HPT for over 2 months now and Im starting to lift and sleep with the same level of comfort as I had before the injury. I have worked primarily with Amanda and Emily, both have been incredibly friendly and do a good job explaining the importance of each exercise. Emily really went above and beyond as she was continually researching new exercises, building equipment specifically geared towards my injury and creating effective, detailed workouts plans for me. As a recovering athlete, I highly recommend the therapists at HPT. They are all very understanding and pleasant to be around. The administrative staff was also very nice and the parking was free. Thank you guys!

I had the BEST experience at Harbor Physical Therapy! I came in with a hip/hamstring problem due to instability and poor running form and after 4 months of working with Emily I am good as new. After being in almost constant pain for months, Im so happy to be back to my usual workout schedule and looking for fall races! I loved working with Emily every week. She was always so positive and really cared about my progress. Seeing the same therapist every week really made all the difference. Emily could make adjustments to my workouts in a way that targeted my specific concerns. She was so invested in my success and was willing to help me in any way she could. I highly recommend Harbor Physical Therapy thanks to my experience with the entirety of the staff. They were so helpful, their facility is well maintained, and they always made me feel special. Im almost sad to say that I wont be able to see Emily every week! But its thanks to her care and expertise that I am back to my usual training schedule. For that I am truly grateful.

Harbor Physical Therapy is my go-to for anything that is keeping me from enjoying all of the activities I love to do. I have always had an active lifestyle and this has taken a toll--Ive injured my knees, shoulder, back, and I even managed to break my neck in a racing car crash in 2000. None of this has stopped me, but I rely on Amanda and her team at HPT to help me manage any recurrence or flare-ups. I turned fifty last summer, but thanks to HPT I will be out for a 140-mile bike ride next month. I couldnt do that without the great care I have gotten along the way. The team at Harbor Physical Therapy takes the time needed to understand the injury and develop a smart plan for recovery. Their expanded location is convenient, and they are always ready for me when I arrive with no waiting. I have recommended lots of friends and colleagues. Why suffer with an injury thats not improving? Get it sorted out--youll be glad you did.

I spent about three months working with Emily at Harbor Physical Therapy after suffering a shoulder injury (from a vaccination, of all things). The entire experience (minus the injury itself) was excellent. Administratively, they were extremely well organized, made payments simple, sent friendly appointment reminders, and were always on time. I don’t think I ever waited more than a minute for my appointment to start. Emily was fantastic. I was only her second SIRVA (Shoulder Injury Resulting from Vaccination Administration) patient, but she worked with me and did some additional research on the topic to try and find some solutions. She is friendly, personable, and clearly cares very much about her patients and their outcomes. After three months I’d say I’ve recovered 99%, and to a significant degree I attribute that to Emily and the folks at Harbor Physical Therapy. Highly recommended.

I am 30 years old, and I needed physical therapy for my neck and lower back. I am so grateful that I chose Harbor Physical Therapy (HPT). They were able to get me out of pain and gave me the type of attention that most facilities don’t provide. At first, there was a lot of soft tissue massage, electrical stimulation, and heat to get me out of pain. At later stages, they gave me stretches and exercises to help me strengthen my muscles. It was a great experience, and I would recommend this office above many others due to the kind of individual attention and care they provide. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and work hard to try to give you the best treatment. Thanks to them, I have fully recovered, and I have learned a lot. Thanks, HPT!
