I have been receiving treatment from Scott at Lifestrength for more than 8 years for numerous injuries or muscle problems from swimming and related training. He was able to fix my knee problem that was misdiagnosed by someone else and has treated me most recently for a hip issue after surgery. My physical therapy was more than 12 weeks and Scott patiently worked with me so that I could compete again. He explains things thoroughly and has no problem answering any questions that I ask so that I understand what we are doing. Terri who works in the office is always accommodating in trying to squeeze you in for needed schedule changes and is very friendly when you call with questions. I drive more than an hour each way to see Scott and I would never go anywhere else for my physical therapy needs. Will use Scott any time I need PT in the future.

Ive been seeing Scott at Lifestrength since high school (8 years now) and am extremely satisfied with the results. As a soccer player Ive suffered some injuries that have brought me severe chronic pain and daily discomfort. When I had injured my back I visited maybe 5 other doctors or professionals who couldnt properly diagnose what was wrong. Then I visited Lifestrength and Scott was able to properly diagnose the problem AND how to resolve it. I had this pain for months and after only a few weeks working with Scott it was gone! Their knowledge of the body and how different systems work together is very impressive and a major reason of how they are able to correct an issue for the long term. To this day, I continue to do the exercises he showed me and the pain has never returned!

Im giving life strength physical therapy five stars, because unlike those other therapy places I actually feel like Im cared for like my recovery matters. Ive been going to life strength once a week for a little while now and I already have improvements. Brett is my therapist hes very knowledgeable and very helpful. When I have questions about my case Brett knows how to give me the answers that I can understand. Not some big fancy answers that kinda make your head hurt lol I would recommend him and anyone else that works at life strength if they are anything like Brett. Also another reason Im giving five stars for Life strength its easy to find and I really like the private patient parking really nice its not far from the building.

I am very pleased with the treatment I received from Tom at Lifestrength in Towson. I had been to the doctor twice over the course of a month, taking muscle relaxers daily for neck pain, when my doctor finally told me to see a physical therapist. Tom gave me relief after the first visit. He gave me easy exercises that I was able to do even though I still had pain. The exercises actually felt good. I went back and after each visit I felt much better than when I got there and the exercises continued to help. After 4 visits I began my aerobics exercises again and after a couple more I was going to the gym again and loving it. Ive been to 2 PTs and 1 chiropractor in my life. Tom is my new physical therapist.

I went to Scott Heinlein after every type of therapist/doctor/specialist (take your pick) had failed me over the course of 5 years. I had been suffering from a chronic nerve pain condition (Neurogenic Thoracic outlet-like symptoms). Heinleins advanced techniques and innovative home exercise program provided me with relief. His extensive knowledge with his practice is current as he does not waste time with old school modalities. Hes got good hands and can usually find the problem without any guidance. Ive been around the block in the Baltimore physical therapy circuit and I highly recommend Scott to anyone who is having chronic pain. I was lucky to find him. Search no further folks. Scotts the man.

Over the course of our daughters swim career, she has seen a number of physical therapist. Each of them not really grasping the understanding her swimming injuries. We would not see much improvement after 5-6 session. A friend of ours recommended Scott Heinlein. After the first session with Scott Heinlein, we knew she was going to be on the road to recovery. She was able to see improvements within the first few sessions. It was well worth the 40 minute ride to his practice! Scott is an amazing physical therapist. He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and personable! His staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!!!

If you are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge, a fun and kind bedside manner, and an experienced and intuitive sense of what the REAL problem is, give Scott at Lifestrength a call! I saw Scott for both a hamstring and shoulder issue, and not only am I feeling so much better, but I have learned how to be both active and safe. I can walk for miles now without pain and am on my way to running again. And I can finally sleep without my shoulder waking me up all night. I wont go to anyone else again!

Thank you Scott @ Lifestrength PT for helping me work through a very frustrating shoulder injury. Your 1lb weight "trick" was magical! Your knowledge and patience motivated me to continue that sessions exercises at home until I saw you again. As we came to the end, my shoulder is almost back to normal. It just needs a little time and TLC. The best, most personal, PT experience Ive ever had. I would return and/or recommend you without hesitation. Thank you again.

I highly recommend Scott at Life Strength. I was having a lot of pain in my shoulder and after working with Scott and doing the exercises that he recommended at home, my shoulder is back to feeling like it should. Its so nice to be able to do normal activities again without pain! Scott was not only very nice, he did a great job at explaining how the body works and how to get it to do what its supposed to do. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him.

Who know my right wrist was wired and connected to my neck (radial nerve)? As a former 3 time Bay Bridge Swimmer I was having a hard time reaching and pulling on my overcoat sleeve. My collar bone was unhooked at the chest. Now I am back in the pool. Working with Scott is effective, fun and feels good. I now have a clear picture of what was wrong and how to keep my shoulder hooked on right. And my stroke is returning to strong again.

Life Strength Physical Therapy treated my shoulder. I was diagnosed with an encapsulated shoulder and couldnt raise my arm above my shoulder. Scott Heinlein treated me for 3 months. My shoulder is now functioning wonderfully and Im back to tossing a ball with my kids and playing golf. Scotts treatments and knowledge of how to rehabilitate my shoulder is why I recovered so quickly. I would highly recommend Life Strength Physical Therapy!

Scott is by far the best physical therapist Ive seen for my shoulder injuries, and being a swimmer prone to shoulder pain, Ive seen a lot of other people. He takes the time to find what is really causing the problems, and not only fixes them but works with you to prevent any more injuries. I would recommend him especially to swimmers because he really understands the sport or to anyone who is looking for high quality PT!
