An injury from many years ago left me with consistent burning pain in my left shoulder/neck and reduced range of motion. In order to check my blind spot I would have to twist in the seat of my car, I couldnt just turn my head. Multiple trips through physical therapy brought no relief. A family member urged me to see Dr. Whalen. I was resistant because frankly I didnt think chiropractic could help. I had been through ortho specialists and physical therapy. Finally I agreed to give it a try. Dr. Whalen used ART (I had never heard of that) and did more in 30 days than anyone had been able to do in 30 years. My range of motion is much improved and the burning pain is gone. Thank you!!!

The staff and Mr. Whalen was very nice and knowledgable. I appreciate the time they have devoted to help diagnose the issues I have regarding my knee and foot pain, so far so good and Im feeling great after todays visit! I am happy that they offer different services such as ART/Chiro/acupuncture and more - you normally cant find all of that together here in Hampton roads, you should make this your 1 stop place to get all the fixn up you need! :) The office is clean, the waiting area has magazines and newspaper to kill time if your waiting (I was early and was seen right on time!). I would for sure recommend this place to my friends and family.

Adjustments are helping me out with my vertigo and motion sickness, which I never would have thought to go to a Chiropractor for, but was looking for a solution as a long flight last Winter was agony. I definitely have seen an improvement with flights as a trip this Winter had almost no issue. Its something to do with calcium crystal buildup in the inner ear for me, it seems. Also getting help with my lower back, shoulder, and neck as apparently im old enough for all that to start to hurt despite no injuries or bad car wrecks in my past. Friendly people. Been going now for a year.

Best Chiro AND staff in Hampton Roads! Its so nice to see smiling, friendly faces every time I walk in. I went through a lot of chiropractors before finding Dr. Whalen and he is amazing! My major treatment is for cervical degenerative disks but he can fix every ache and pain I have from "driving stick-hip pain" to triggering tight shoulder muscles from leaning over a computer all day. I highly recommend a visit because every time I leave this office I feel incredible!

I came in with pain on my right SI joint and didnt know who to come to. Tried chiropractic adjustments at a different place but nothing worked. My first visit, I had gotten an x ray which my previous chiropractor did not do. After a week of getting proper adjustments, the pain substantially went away. I am a competitive powerlifter and taking care of my body is a must. Dr. Whalen and his staff are amazing and actually care about their patients unlike others.
