I have received services (Chiropractic adjustments and messages) through this practice for several years. A neurosurgeon preformed a hemi-laminectomy (spine surgery) on my back in 1984 -- due to a work injury I had in construction work while in college. In recent years, I have been trying to cope with the stiffness, soreness and off and on pain associated with arthritic changes in both my back and neck, typical of someone that has my medical history. Kelly Whitteman, LMP has done a fabulous job with her message therapy which, at times, has literally allowed me to remain active. As the severity of my arthritis has grown with age, intermittent Chiropractic care has become essential. After this group rebranded under the name Natural Way Chiropractic in 2015 (with 6 satellite locations), Dr. Kylee McGarvie, a Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA) graduate, became the principal Chiropractor at the Everett Office. In my previous life prior to retirement, I worked for physicians managing their practices for 34 years, the last 20 as a CEO for a number of orthopedic groups. This experience allowed me to become an excellent judge of quality healthcare – a necessity. Kylee’s assessment and adjustment skills have proven to be a God Send for me – keeping me going through weather changes, over exertion, and the ramifications of Osteoarthritis. So much appreciated. And just as important, Kylee and Kelly work extremely well as a team. So, without question, it is therefore my pleasure to recommend both Dr. Kylee McGarvie and Kelly to other patients for their Chiropractic needs. They can then judge the benefits this team has to offer for themselves.

Three months after I was diagnosed the Menieres Disease, I was experiencing Vertigo spells and Tinnitus. It also had been six years since I had seen a chiropractor. My daughter and I had a free exam and x-rays for Universal Chiropractic Center in February of 2002. It was the best non-drug prescription I so desperately needed. Within the next two weeks my Tinnitus became quieter and I hadnt had any Vertigo. I could sleep better and the tingling in my arms went away. Over the next nine months my visits minimized to once a month. I was drug free, symptom free and feeling great! After all the tests and visits to the medical doctors, I needed not to go back. In December of 2002 I missed my appointment and time got away from me. Before I knew it, it was June. I started to have pressure build up in my temples and louder ringing in my ears. Then one morning I woke up with the Vertigo. Over the next month it continued to get worse. I called Universal Chiropractic and scheduled an appointment. Now I am back on track and feeling functional. I dont want to feel like that again, especially when I didnt know when the spells would come on. Thanks to Dr. Colin I can maintain a healthy lifestyle by taking care of myself and my family, as well as benefit from chiropractic care.

Late last august I was in a care accident and was taken to the hospital and released with three different pain medications. After follow up care with my regular doctor I was referred to physical therapy, which I attended until October. I was then told to continue to do my exercises, take medications as needed, and it would take a year to heal.Since the accident, I have gotten high blood pressure, became depressed, gained 50 pounds, my gums became inflamed, I lost energy, had terrible headaches, back pain, and neck pain. Someone recommended in early May that I try chiropractic. I was skeptical but gave Universal Chiropractic Center a try. As of today, I am 23 pounds lighter; my blood pressure went from 140/90 on medication to 112/78. My teeth were cleaned this morning and my gums had improved greatly form a #5 to a #2. I also have more energy, far fewer headaches and more mobility in my neck. An added benefit was that a menstrual irregularity problem which I had for over three years suddenly cleared up and I am back on a regular schedule. Sure I still have bad days, but my life has greatly improved and I am thankful to the friend who suggested I give chiropractic care a try. My husband and two children now get regular adjustments also.

My medical insurance did not cover chiropractic care. However 12 years prior I had an experience with a neck injury that would cause my right arm to spasm, which was corrected by chiropractic work with Universal Everett Chiropractic. That convinced me to try again without the help from my insurance. After the first adjustment the pain was totally gone! Then I made the mistake of walking around the mall all afternoon with my wife. The following day I had to take off from work since the pain was so intense. After more adjustments my pain level went back to the way it was after the first adjustment. Relief! I now do not need ibuprofen and only have to ice once or twice a day, also I started gradually walking more frequently and further distances. My next step is to strengthen my body to support my back in the way it deserves.

I went to Universal Chiropractic Center after hearing from others that chiropractic care could help other areas other than your back. They took some x-rays on me and asked if I had been in an accident, which I had not. I had do idea my back was so out of whack. I started chiropractic care about 2 months ago and have already seen improvement in many areas. I no longer have chest pains. I have gained about 10 pounds and believe it or not, my hair and fingernails have started growing more quickly. I no longer have daily abdominal pain and I havent had a sinus infection since. My appetite has improved and Im not depressed and I feel like a new person. I now know how it feels to be normalﾔ.

I have had great results after my car accident in May. I started being seen in June. I am a in home care provider with my husband and the job can be physically demanding with lifting helping my clients in and out of cars. The 3 and now 2 days a week adjustments with the massage therapy has kept me moving and with me being honest with clients of what I could or could not do for my job. A few months into treatment I wanted to take my kids to Wild Waves for the day. I asked what I should not do there but I got the green light to do what I wanted and Monday I was not as bad as I thought, my adjustment went well. Dr. Kylee has been working with me for a few months. When I came to her I had severe neck pain from an accident years before. I had chronic headaches and had just accepted that pain was normal. She came up with a plan to reset my neck. At the follow up review she adjusted the plan to include some traction. My body responded immediately. My treatment is ongoing, but my headaches are now just intermittent. I have been pleased with my progress as a result of great chiropractic care. Thank you Dr. Kylee, and her support staff Raven, for the continued improvement in my health, and for accommodating my ever changing schedule.

I would highly recommend going to Natural Way Chiropractic of Everett for massage therapy and chiropractic care. After getting in an accident I was advised to see a chiropractor and I am so grateful that I chose Natural Way. I have had a great experience over the last several months and have noticed a lot of improvement in my healing and recovery process. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and the facility is always clean and comfortable. I am very satisfied with my overall experience!
