I was first introduced to Dr. Joe Awender by a friend. I was very nervous and hesitant because I heard crazy things about chiropractor care and I just didnt know what to expect. From the get-go, I was greeted by a very friendly staff and I felt like I learned so much from my first consultation with Dr. Joe. He not only took an x-ray, but he also took time to explain to me how he could help me, how long it was going to take, etc. Before I started my treatment, I was having headaches and migraines every single day for 3 months straight and no one could figure out why. I had pain in my lower back and my feet because my hip was "out of place". I also learned that one of my legs was a whole inch shorter than the other so that affected my entire body especially after I worked out. I tried massages, anti-inflammatory medication, foam rolling, psychical therapy and nothing really worked. I have been treating with Dr. Joe for 3 months (and counting) and all of the issues I was having with my body is almost gone. It took about 2 months for my headaches to go away, but they did and I havent had a headache or migraine since the end of March! My lower back and feet pain is 80% better and I know it will be a 100% soon with his help. If you are hesitant about getting adjusted like I was, dont be. Dr. Joe and Dr. Dan are gentle, they hear what you have to say and really understand how your body works before adjusting you. Dr. Joe and his entire team is fantastic and Im grateful I found him. Ive told a lot of people about my experience and I hope this helps you too! Oh, and he is affordable too which is a HUGE deal to me.

It will be two years now that I have been a patient at Awender Chiropractic ~ one of the best decisions I have made and continue to make. Because of Dr. Joe, Donna, and the entire exceptional staff, I have become a true believer in chiropractic care. I feel each day I am reclaiming the body I was created to have through the investment Dr. Joe places in me as a patient and in the desire to see true healing emerge. In one visit, chronic pain from a head injury I had "just accepted" I would have to live with was literally healed. It was Dr. Joe who diagnosed my scoliosis (at age 36!) and it is here that I have learned to cultivate patience: some healing will just take longer...but it will HAPPEN! Dr. Awender, Dr. Dan, and the staff at Awender Chiropractic are all amazing and so friendly! I have been under chiropractic care most of my life, and have always suffered from headaches and upper back pain. As a student my reoccurring back pain and severe headaches really put a damper on studying. After being under the care of both Dr. Awender and Dr. Dan for less than two weeks, my headaches and upper back pain were gone and have not returned since!! Dr Joe is amazing! I am 25 weeks pregnant and had really bad sciatica pains shooting down my lower back and right leg. I did not want to take any medicine like my obgyn recommend and heard about Dr Joe and Chiro from a friend. SO GLAD I went. After just 2 sessions, the pain was gone. Its a miracle! Six months in and Im still enjoying my visits very much. I feel great after the adjustments and overall my back feels healthier and less tense. The staff make you feel welcome, and Dr Awender himself is really nice. Ive never had to wait long. Some of the rooms have massage chairs... those times Im wishing the doc would run a bit late! Also very affordable, which is cool because my insurance doesnt cover chiropractic.
