I came to Dr. Renee about 6 years ago - after another vet argued with me about putting to sleep my elder dog who had pretty bad hip dysplasia... her kindness and open approach had me hooked. Since then, she and her staff have helped me say goodbye to two other four footed kids. Most recently, she sat on the floor and cried with me as we let go of our 13 year old lab. Her staff continued to call me days later to see if I was OK and if they could do anything for me. Now I have two new dogs - both puppies, a yellow lab and a German Shepherd. Her team adores them, telling me to come by just to watch them grow. After every shot or visit - I get a call to make sure the puppies are doing OK. I have had a lot of dogs and find her prices to be very reasonable. Her team is very active in the community - doing pet food fundraisers and donating medical care for pet owners that cant afford it. I can only imagine that the disgruntled reviews Im reading are from pet owners that maybe need to reconsider their role as such. I LOVE Dr. Renee and her whole team - but more importantly - my dogs LOVE Dr. Renee and her team!

I absolutely love Lake Stevens Animal Hospital staff and Dr. Rene. We started with taking our rescue puppy to the clinic and now have transferred out cats to their care as we are so impressed with them. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than walk-in vet clinics however, I believe the exceptional care we receive for our pets is worth the extra money. Example: we have one cat that has a digestive issue where she vomits a lot. The previous vet clinic put her on oils and other medications but no relief for the on-going vomiting. Dr. Rene evaluated her and ran blood tests to rule out medical issues. It turned out to be food allergies, took her off of all medications and now she is on rabbit and pea speciality food that has completely resolved the vomiting. A much happier and healthier cat who is enjoying life again without putting medications/chemicals in her body.

I LOVE Lake Stevens Animal Hospital! We have been taking our Golden Aussie mix Thor to them since his first check up! They have an AMAZING staff that is so attentive and courteous! Especially to someone who is almost neurotic about my fur baby! I loved their puppy plan, covered so much and a great price! When it comes to pricing it is absolutely reasonable when considering youre not just paying them to care for your pet as their own, but also for such GREAT medicine and a loving hand to give that medicine. This is the only animal hospital I have brought my pets to that I felt the people cared more about my dog than my money! I tell almost everyone I can about them! Life time customer here, they are the only place I will trust my Thor with!

bunch of jerks. they had animals running free in the office while i was there to have to put down my best friend of the last 15 years. their cats kept coming into the room and getting in the way while they were putting him down. they apparently changed their methods as well and it seemed the new method was very painful for my loved pet. they were not caring. they are out for the buck. already a horrible day for me, i forgot to bring my debit card. they refused to take a check and demanded that i go to an atm and pay them in cash. i had to threaten them to back down. absolutely horrible. made what should have been peaceful for both me and my dog a very bad memory. it hangs on in my thoughts continuously. they are the worst!!

I took my cat in for a chronic runny nose in just one nostril. They took x-rays of his mouth and said a chipped tooth on the other side of his head was the problem. Nevermind that tooth had been chipped 10+ years. Cost $1000 to get it removed. Several different times while going over the process and afterward I asked "and you think this will stop his runny nose?" Every time they had no idea what I was talking about. They just wanted money. He ended up dying from that nasal issue, his skull was being eaten away by a bacterial infection. If they took xrays of his skull instead of his teeth they might have seen it. I found out the hardest way theres a big difference between those types of xrays.

We have been taking our pets here for about 2 years now and they have been great. Also, just yesterday, I found an abandoned bunny in a parking lot nearby the hospital and took it here because it needed some extreme care; it was very thin and had dental disease which probably prevented him from eating. They took the bunny with just a small donation made by my mom and I and are going to give him all the veterinary care that he needs and later adopt him out to someone who will NOT drop him off on the side of the road to fend for himself. I am amazed that any hospital is willing to do something like this and I want to thank them 10000x over for truly caring about animals!

Dr.Renee and her staff are wonderful people to work with! They always put my pets needs first. Before they proceeded with any diagnostics the nurse gave me a estimate so I knew exactly what they were doing and how much it was going to cost me! They recommended pet insurance when I got my new puppy and I am so glad I did. My puppy was 5 months old and decided to eat my lunch full of foods she shouldnt have ate! They fit me in right away to make sure she vomited it up and kept her for observation! They even have a link on their website that gave me a discount on the pet insurance! I highly recommend this Animal care team!

Not Recommended. At this place its all about money and they charge top dollar for everything. They charged us $200 for one office visit when all they did was treat a case of Diarrhea. And not only that, they wanted the money first! ...Before any services were rendered. We had been going there and had a good credit standing. And then the medicine thay gave us was marked up 400%. I looked it up on line. Not only that, the Dr appears to only be there for a couple of days a week.

I have been bringing my animals here for many years. I could not be happier with the service and the way they have treated my dogs & cats. Dr Renee and her staff have always treated us with respect and compassion even at the most difficult of times. I would recommend them to anyone that needs top notch care. They get nine paws up from us. One from each of my children.

Both of my dogs have been seeing Dr Renee since I got them. I would not take them anywhere else! When my rottie fell ill and had to leave us, they were so kind and gentle with him as we said our goodbyes. I live this place and all the people who work there!
