I scheduled an appointment in May 2017 for regular check-up and cleaning based on the nice reviews online. I took my 21 months old son with me and when doing the X-ray, my son kept crying because he was afraid. The front desk took many car toys trying to comfort him. The X-ray technician stopped taking X-ray several times because my son was crying. The X-ray technician re-took X-ray 4 times because of some kind of tech-issues and when retaking it she forgot to give me the X-ray protection. The crying might be annoying but I appreciate their efforts helping him to calm down. Then when I am taken to another place for teeth cleaning, the hygienist said my son could stay in a corner near me. Once the cleaning started my son started crying again. Suddenly the X-ray technician came and took my son out of the teeth cleaning cube. It was too sudden that I didnt have time to think and stop it. I heard my son crying in the hallway and thought they would comfort him in the toy area. About 2-3 minutes later someone came to me and ask me to reschedule the cleaning and take my son home. She said my son cannot be comforted and fell on the carpet. Dr. Luna took a brief look at my teeth and said it was OK. I asked how high my son fell from and the front desk told me he felt from the sofa and when she was trying to catch him it was too late. Dr. Luna suggested to put ice pack on my sons lip. I was concerned if the wound will have permanent scar but Dr. Luna said it was common and wouldnt need stitches and let me go. I believe no one wanted to hurt my son on purpose. However, if it is not OK to bring my son with me, I think it is better to let me know directly and reschedule in the beginning, other than taking my son away from me. I heard no apology from the unpleasant experience. I suggest not to take children away from their parents in the future.

The staff was great, the equipment is state of the art, and the doctor was kind and honest, and didnt try to sell me services I didnt need. I have a few teeth that could use crowns because of cracks, and a dentist I had been to previously had practically tried to force three crowns on me, but Dr. Luna said we can just monitor the situation. I had a great experience there.

The staff here are all incredible! Very warm and gentle chair-side manner that will put any patient at ease. They handled an extraction for me and now we are working on my overall dental health plan. They lay out all the options and let you decide. What a great experience so far and looking forward to continued awesome care.
