Ive worked with Dr. Langley a few times now; they are the third chiropractor Ive worked with, and the most technical. Our first session was preceded by about 45 minutes or more of being photographed, x-rayed, measured; it was fascinating! I had all my reflexes tested, was hooked up to a machine that showed which muscle groups were inflamed, had my nerve sensitivity along my spine and along my limbs tested, had my pulse measured on both sides, and was asked to bend different ways to check my flexibility, to compare how I could turn and pivot, where my pelvis and shoulders sat relative to one another. My other chiropractors were a little more Eastern in their scope, and integrated Chinese medicine and somatic therapy, but Ive found I really appreciate Dr. Langleys minimalist approach; I have yet to be manually adjusted, or even have the drop table used extensively, instead Dr. Langley to date has used a little compression tool to direct small impact pushes at different points...and its worked. I went in after injuring my jaw, and after a few sessions of minimal adjustment, not only was my jaw pain free after that first session, but my chronic neck injury and subsequent tightness along my corresponding side are way better. The rooms are fastidiously clean; it actually has a dentists level of cleanliness, and its evident the whole practice believes in proper nutrition being the underlying base of health. Although aesthetically I like things a little more homey, I have to give Dr. Langley his due; his belief in supporting the body in its own resiliency works for me. Plus their out of pocket prices and packages are affordable, which I appreciate.

I used this office for a couple years due to convenience and good lmps but never felt like i got a decent adjustment..Recently i needed to get in urgently and was unable to so i took the opportunity to try tumwater chiropractic...I will never be back to VanQuaethem
