Ive been going to Carri since 2013 due to what I thought was an unfortunate injury, but now I find it more like serendipity. Like other patients, I have been to so many different people and decided that there is a certain limit anyone can go. Then I met Carri...wow, due to her vast schooling, experience, and gifted intuition, I have learned more about my body than ever before. I now know the things I was doing to compound my issues instead of help them. I know how to listen to my body and manage myself more effectively. If you are looking for the same cookie cutter approach (go into a physical therapist and do exercises with them a couple of times a week) then continue doing that. But if you are looking for someone who works with you once or twice a month and spends at least an hour with you mostly doing hands on therapeutic massage than Carri is your gal. Dont get me wrong. You still have to do exercises and she has all the training on the cookie cutter approach, it is just that she applies her knowledge completely different. I have never had more success with my ailments than with Carri.

Phenomenal! I am still in shock at how quickly Carri resolved my (extreme) back pain! I had been to 4 PTs, a Physiatrist & a Sports Medicine doctor for my back over the last 2 years with barely any improvement and an incorrect diagnosis. (2 PTs actually made me much worse!) I had been in a MVA 9 years ago that apparently caused herniated bulging discs in my low back. This injury resulted in sudden onset Lateral Lumbar Stenosis & agonizing pain. I could no longer do normal activities like standing and folding laundry let alone go for a walk. After only 3 visits I was completely pain free and started going for walks again. Two months later I rejoined my gym and got back to swimming! I am so eternally grateful to Carri! THANK YOU!!

Carri Kaplan is hands down the best PT I have worked with. I saw her for a nagging foot issue that had been going for almost a year that nobody had been able to fix. Just when I was about to give up on the prospect of ever running again someone referred me to Carri. She is ABSOLUTELY amazing. In just five sessions she has gotten rid of my foot issue as well an ongoing hip and shoulder issue that I have had for years. With her unique blend of physical therapy, massage therapy, orthopedic manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation she is able to address the whole body vs. looking at the injury as an isolated entity. Thank you Carri for giving me the gift of being able to exercise injury free!

I love going to Carri at Bend to Mend because I always feel better! Shes an expert and she takes insurance including medicare! I suffer from lower back issues causing chronic pain when I stand or walk. No physical therapist has EVER helped me! As I watched a friend improve under Carris care, I decided to give her a try. Holy Cow want a difference! Carri watches me "walk" and recommends specific exercises to help me. She also does Visceral massage, a deep kind of massage which has really improved my walking and reduced my pain. AMAZING! Give her a call, she might really be able to help you too.

Began working with Carri after being referred by my doctor 5 weeks ago. Walking was painful and my balance uncertain. Between the sessions with her and the exercises she gives me to do at home, I am in less pain and doing some walking at home without my cane. I am hopeful for more improvement as we continue to work together.
