Dr. Zapata is the best chiropractor Ive been treated by. This statement shouldnt been taken lightly, as Ive seen chiropractors all around the world. I have had pain and misalignment for years, and routine adjustments gave some relief, but no solution. The Blair method is very gentle; at first you may find yourself missing the cracks and pops of standard mechanistic chiropractors. Give it a couple of adjustments, and you will find the results at Emerald City Spinal Care go deeper than this. Dr. Zapatas treatment plan was reasonable and showed results on many levels. Not only could you see my physical body restructuring, but I felt better, more able to exercise, more optimistic about life. Many people dont realize that spinal health is not just about bones, but rather about your nervous system. I brought my partner in to be treated by Dr. Zapata, and we are both fans! The whole team makes your experience easy and enjoyable, from booking appointments to making payments, and of course, getting adjusted. They even have comfy chairs for you to sit in after your adjustment (a welcome change from those "get in, get out" offices). I recommend Emerald City Spinal Care without any hesitation.

Dr. Zapata is the BEST Chiropractor Ive ever seen. I started chiropractic care in 1993 and have been to a number of different Dr.s over the years. I have never seen a Dr. who can make my headache go away immediately with a gentle adjustment until I saw Dr. Zapata. Her care is, hands down, the best. After I visited her and followed her care plan, I noticed such significant changes that I convinced my husband to visit also. He used to think Chiropractic care was "snake oil" until he saw her. Now, our teenage kids are visiting her for their adjustments and I highly recommend her for your familys care! Some Chiropractors twist and contort you, they jar your body and frankly it frightens me- Dr.Zapata does NOT. Shes an amazing chiropractor who can help change how you feel everyday and when you visit her, youll understand why people love her. Go visit her!!

When I came to Emerald City Spinal Care in November of 2016 after a series of car accidents, I could barely walk. After an 6 weeks of therapy, coupled with massage and exercise, I experienced drastic results. I feel like Dr. Zapata has given me my life back. I have since returned to martial arts competition and full regiment of exercise, with maintenance chiropractic visits. Dr. Zapatas staff is efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. In addition to Chiropractic care, the office offers massage and has a network of trusted practitioners in other offices. Emerald City Spinal Care is centrally located in Capitol Hill with limited building parking, but plenty of on-street parking near by. The office is warm, inviting, and the wait is rarely more than a couple minutes.

I had a wonderful experience here! I bought me and my fiancee Groupon tickets for a chiropractic wellness check and a massage. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly and thoughtful! Stephanie was very friendly and professional and I felt wonderful after getting a massage from her. We talked the whole time about our love life, but it didnt detract from her concentration. Dr. Zapata was also very helpful in finding several issues with my posture and was able to help me name the reasons why Ive been experience major neck and back pains. She was super friendly and we were able to connect on a personal level as well. Their team was welcoming and I am VERY impressed by the personalized voice message they emailed me to leave a review.

Dr. Zapata is extremely talented at her job. She treats her patients with great care, and she is very kind. If youve never had chiropractic, or are anxious about spinal manipulation, this gentle approach will resolve pain and is not scary. She put me back together after a serious car accident! The office has fantastic availability too, and they take PIP cases, offer payment plans, and have great promotions (like bringing in donations for charities in certain seasons to get your first visit and initial films for free!). They also offer massage on site, and dedicated parking - its a fantastic place!

Working with Emerald City Spinal Care was like waking up out of a fog. My time working with ECS has made a profound difference in my experience of being alive. About a month ago I came in to see Dr. Zapata. For about a month Id been using the "do it myself" method of recovery from a debilitating back spasm. I was laid up for a week, and eventually plateaued with chronic pain and difficulty sleeping. My pain was gone in a week and a half and now I am performing better than I did before the back spasm. Dr. Zapata and her team are great! This was my first experience with chiropractic care and I am now a believer. I started going a little over a year ago when I was having a lot of hip pain from running in addition to some chronic back and neck pain. Getting adjustments has made it possible for me to run longer distances without pain, and I have noticed big improvements in my overall health. I have also had massages from Leo, and they were wonderful! Everyone in the office is so friendly and it has a very relaxed, positive atmosphere.

I went to Dr. Zapata after a friend recommended her for my back issues. Fortunately I followed up on his recommendation. I needed corrections to my Atlas bone, middle and lower back. I wasnt in a lot pain everyday, but had bad posture and would get sore playing with my kid. I really didnt know what to expect but have been very happy with the results. 6 weeks after my Atlas adjustment my back is getting stronger, my posture is improving and Im not suffering after a big play day. If you are looking for gentle, non-invasive, effective relief from pain or headaches, Dr. Zapata is the chiropractor for you! She only makes adjustments that are necessary, and tailored to ones need that visit. Ive found this much more effective than with chiropractors who would do the same 5 adjustments every time that then only provided limited relief. Dr. Zapatas gentle upper cervical adjustments keep my headaches and migraines at bay. Shes truly talented and kind. Highly recommended!

She explains what is going on with your body so as she does each adjustment you understand why it is happening. Dr. Zapata was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and provided me with valuable information about my spinal health and weight distribution. The massage with Stephanie also went really well. Although the massage was in the office, the private room was very relaxing and isolated like a spa experience. Would definitely recommend the experience to friends and family!
