My initial consult with Dr. Timmerman was not quite what I expected, my previous experiences with other dentists and their staff had left me white knuckled, tear rolling, armrest gripping and the all telling indicator of fear -- whole body trembling. Dr. Timmermans staff were well trained to identify terrified people and oh so very patient and tolerant. Once all the x-rays, pictures and "data" were collected, I was taken to his office where he had already uploaded and began generating a plan to give me back my esteem and a path to a healthier nutritional life. (okay and a way more confident smile). My situation seems complex and I was given an estimate that needed time to consider. I decided to get a second opinion and the difference between the doctors and their staff was like night and day. The staff were checked out, the doctor’s assistant did not know her job and was just going through steps, not knowing WHY just checking off steps. She walked me to an exam room had me sit then in the same breath had me stand and follow her to get an x-ray, while there she was just saying what she was taught to say whether it applied or not. Another gal had me hold instruments in my mouth while she took pictures all while tears streamed down my face. The doctor was nice but he didn’t seem to think there was anything he could do but promised to call me the next day to let me know his plan. I’m still waiting for that call -------not. It was obvious the difference. We called Dr. Timmermans office shortly after to schedule a time to talk. They had us in the next day and we were greeted warmly by his staff and Dr. Timmerman answered all my questions—he was patient and thorough, confident and optimistic. I was scheduled the next day to begin the plan. I forgot to be nervous after I began to watch him work… he has all the tools and technology AND by the twinkle in his eyes I’d say he LIKES what he does. They are focused, personable AND professional.

In my 20s & 30s, everything was sure a lot more effortless! It was easy as a young woman to feel attractive & appealing. But as I left this phase of my life behind, it became harder. My teeth in particular began to bother me. They became more stained & discolored, and one of my front teeth began to move downward & was loose. Spaces appeared that didn’t used to be there. I had no clue as to what to do about this snaggly predicament. I began to longingly dog-ear pictures of beautiful smiles in magazines, although I was certain that smiles like these were forever out of my reach. My self esteem was spiraling downward, & I started to feel depressed. My teeth made me feel self-conscious. My face felt tight when I smiled. One day, I decided to go see Dr Timmerman. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life! He was patient & kind, we sat in his office and discussed what could be done to restore my teeth. I began to feel a little hopeful! He seems way more than an ordinary dentist, more like an artist of some kind. His training & stuff is totally mind-boggling. I ended up getting eight of my top teeth replaced with beautiful, natural-looking veneers. Not only did I get a smile like the pictures I had been tearing out of magazines, but it actually exceeded my expectations of what was achievable. They are not “bulky”, “unnatural”, “painful” or any of that other baloney. They are gorgeous & state-of–the-art. In fact, that is the term that most describes Dr.Timmerman – he is one state-of-the-art doc! This decision was life-changing for me. I felt 20 years younger! I actually cried when Dr Timmerman first handed me a mirror after he was all done. My self-esteem has been greatly restored. It’s amazing how much of your life falls into place when you feel confident & relaxed in speaking & smiling. Thank you, Dr Timmerman, for giving me back a much more youthful feeling. You really are a true artist!

Im so glad I finally found a dentist who makes me feel comfortable. I first went to Dr. Timmerman for teeth whitening with the Zoom treatment. Im a 45 y/o male and Ive always been self conscious about my smile because Ive never had braces or my wisdom teeth removed. I had such a pleasant experience at Dr. Timmermans office during the whitening treatment that I inquired about adult braces. He sat down with me, explained all the options and we decided on the 6-Month Smiles braces. Once the braces come off, Ill also do veneers on my two front teeth. Everyone at the office is great. Theyre all genuinely excited for me when I come in and very encouraging about my journey towards my smile make-over. Its so nice to finally find a dentist who treats me like a person instead of like a number. I cant thank Dr. Timmerman and his staff enough for all theyve done for me and continue to do for me.

I had an amazing consultation with Dr. Timmerman! He didnt rush me, he answered all of my questions, he gave me options and what would benefit me and my particular situation. He was very professional, very nice about everything. I didnt wait at all, everything was up front, there was pictures and X-rays right in front of me. The first dentist experience that made me feel I was their #1 priority and I couldnt of asked for a better place! He and his team are amazing! Alicia made me feel like I was a friend, not just a patient. Dont sleep on this! Quit wondering what could be! Make an appointment with the #1 dentist, you wont be sorry!!! Highly recommend!! Awesome!

Dr. Timmerman has excellent countenance with patients. He endeavors sure that the whole experience is as comfortable as possible. He explains things thoroughly and doesnt discredit his patients knowledge and gently corrects misinformation. His office boasts several high tech pieces of equipment. The staff is really friendly and helpful and were able to accommodate a change of plans on my part. I wish they had hours on Thursday and Friday and a location north of the Seattle. There is plenty of parking at the location and is pretty convenient if you are in the Renton/Kent/Tukwila area. (Not so much coming from North Seattle)

Ive been to multiple dentists, and this is the first Ive been to where I feel fully comfortable. Hes thorough, honest, and shares his knowledge and understanding with you, and it doesnt feel like hes trying to sell you. It feels like all the staff treat you with mutual respect and seem genuine to help and that, belive it or not, is rare these days! This is my second review ever written online and its because I truly appreciate this practice and my experience there. They got me in day of during a tooth chip emergency, and Ive been going back ever sense! The whole staffs deserves this review and that is so rare these days!!!

Dr Lance Timmerman and his staff are wonderful! Ive been a patient for over two years and have always been treated well by Dr T and his entire staff. I have good teeth, but did need old fillings replaced and Dr. Timmerman did a fantastic job! Now my old silver colored fillings are gone and you cant even tell I have fillings. Plus, the procedure was done so that I felt no pain, and was done over my lunch break. I trust Dr Timmerman so much that I have my whole family go to him, even my 1 1/2 year old daughter. I would highly recommend Dr Timmerman to anyone, and if you need dental work - hes the best! ~ SB
