Puyallup Valley Dental goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible to their patients. As previous reviews have mentioned, the first appointment is a long consultation that may not even include a cleaning. A nearly 2 hour appointment without a cleaning seemed odd to me and to be honest, I probably wouldve gone elsewhere if a friend hadnt so highly recommended Puyallup Valley Dental. After reflecting upon the consultation appointment, it gave me confidence that the goal was not to see as many patients as possible, but rather that Dr. Zingerman (or Dr. Z) would always provide me with the best personalized care when it came to my teeth. This was further impressed upon me and reiterated after my first appointment. After my first cleaning, Dr. Zingerman determined I would need fillings and that it may be best to do 2 separate appointments because I had so many... No fun... and not the most delighting news I have heard... However, Dr. Zingerman said if I had the time today, he could do some of them right now to make sure I did not need another appointment. It was the first time I have had a dentist be able to take the extra time with me to do a treatment the very same day; and in all honesty, I do not expect Dr. Z to have the time to do same day fillings every time, but I know that he will go the extra mile whenever he is able. In providing and explaining care, Dr. Z was both personable and professional. Although, it was not my first rodeo when it came to a filling, Dr. Zingerman explained the process and took the additional time needed to provide me with the best possible care for my teeth. He waited to make sure everything felt correct and natural in my mouth, and made adjustments after I noticed my bite was a bit higher than normal. Dr. Z is by far the best dentist I have ever had and I absolutely recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a dentist whose primary goal is your teeth, rather than seeing as many patients as possible.

Been a patient of Dr. Urback since the early 80s. I had severe dental issues from a very young age and my teeth were failing. I went to Dr. Urback in my mid 20s and he was the only dentist of all I had seen before him who devised a treatment plan that not only saved my teeth, but made them healthy. Even though his great staff has changed at times over the years, the replacements are very dedicated and knowledgeable in their tasks. Everyone who works with me does fantastic work. Becky has been my primary hygienist and has done wonders getting my teeth and gums healthy. When I have restorations done Nicole is always top notch assisting and a pleasure to have work on me. Heidi runs the office wonderfully and is always so helpful keeping my account accurate and dealing with any problems. Lesli does great explaining treatment plans and all that goes with that. I could go on with everyone else too, Deb, Nan, Jill, Heather, Mellissa, and even the newer staff I havent worked with yet always have a smile and make everyone feel confident they will be taken care of properly. I tell anybody that will listen, if you want excellent dental care, go to Puyallup Valley Dental. You wont be disappointed!

All of the staff at Puyallup Valley Dental helped me feel welcome, at ease, and not embarrassed about my dental issues and long hiatus from visiting a dentist. They are very comprehensive on your first dental visit to get as much information about your mouth and teeth and then on your second visit clean your teeth and go over the results of your first appointment in an office and not in the dental chair. They take the time to explain everything that they saw as issues and only suggest you get these issues treated and then give you an honest breakdown of what the cost for you will be if you should decide to get everything treated. At the end of the consultation the staff does not pressure you to make an appointment for your dental issues but really leaves it up to you. This is a welcome dimension in dental office visits as I used to always feel like other dental offices were pushing me to get dental work completed or my teeth would rot out. To sum up my experience would be to say; they treat you like a friend and a valued customer who they look forward to visiting with you again and again.

Professional with the latest technology. I have finally found a dentist that I feel will do the job right. I got a good impression from this one and will be going here from now on. They also take molds of your teeth in case anything happens to you that requires some form of reconstruction. They made sure everything was the right size and did not force anything onto the teeth that was too small. The tech stayed while the mold was being done - no walking out and using a timer. Squared away professional behavior here. Excellent US dentist. Went back 4/18/14 to finish up two broken fillings, crown redu, and a deep cleaning. Was in the chair for almost 5 hours ; ) (needed to get as much as possible done in one visit) once they shot some pain killer into the crown area I sighed with relief. I had been enduring a fair amount of pain for a long time. Dr. Zingerman, Jill, and the rest all took good care of me. I slept solid last night completely pain free for the first time in a long time.

I found out that I needed a crown and my current dentist was not able to get me if for over a month so I reached out to Puyallup Valley Dental and they were able to get me in the next day AND my crown was completed that same day! Most up to date and state of the art equipment! I did not have to schedule an additional appointment. That was super helpful as I work and have small children so it is very difficult to schedule time to go to the dentist. My experience there was so smooth and everyone that worked there was super nice and friendly that I scheduled an appointment for my 3 year old to also see Dr. Zingerman. I knew that it was extremely important for his first visit to be positive and it was! It could not have gone better. The staff, once again, was so friendly and caring. I am so thankful for the care that my family experienced with Dr. Zingerman and the staff at Puyallup Valley Dental Care. I would recommend him even to the most anxious dental patient.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Urback and his staff at Puyallup Valley Dental. The office is clean, modern, and has a pleasant atmosphere, everyone there is kind, understanding, and attentive, and it is obvious that they are up to date on the most current methods of dentistry. Each time I go, I feel I have been listened to. They take my comfort seriously and make sure the experience is as non-traumatic as possible. Numerous small, personal touches make it better than the average dental visit, from the positive messages on the walls to the heated chairs and blankets and the lovely lip balm they send you home with, you feel as if they have thought of everything. Besides the pleasant experience, I also feel my teeth are well cared for - Dr. Urback has state of the art equipment and the expertise that makes me feel confident in his work. I trust them to keep my teeth healthy and strong.
