I visited Dr. Sluka after being pushed into a root canal with another local dentist. Dr. Sluka explained all the required work in my mouth after patiently listening to my past experiences and my symptoms. As others have stated here, he always has the patients best interest at heart and he takes great care to explain how, when, why, and what he is doing before he does anything. I have gotten a root canal done with Dr. Sluka and can say that he is the most gentle, professional, and experienced dentist I have ever had. He makes his patients feel comfortable before, during and after any work done. He takes great care to make sure he does the best job possible. If you ever have any questions or concerns, he is more than happy to hear you out and to educate you on the best plans of action for your dental health. His staff members are extremely helpful and kind. Everyone is always willing to take the time to help you out whether your concerns/questions are with billing, procedures, or scheduling. Dr. Sluka is a great choice!

Woke up on Saturday and had a debilitating toothache. Im not a big fan of dentist so I really do not have a regular one and we just moved to this area. That being said I called at 11am when I realized that this was not going to work it self out and they were closed but had a number for emergencys if needed I called 15 minutes later the Dr called me back and had me come down in under an hour. Dr. Sluka could not have been better knew the reason for the pain before I even sat down. Made me comfortable even before he gave me the needles to numb the area. Just all around great experience and real genuine person. I would recommend this dentist to everyone. If I could give more stars I would!!!!!!!!

By far, the BEST dentist, and I have been to plenty! Dr. Sluka is excellent! Hes knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, gentle, and spends a lot of time with patients. You never feel rushed; he explains everything before doing anything! Any other dentist who looked at my teeth saw a "gold mine." Dr. Sluka was different. Hes conservative and has the patients best interest at heart. I cant say enough about how wonderful he is. Staff is a pleasure: phones answered quickly and courteously, appointments and insurance paperwork handled professionally.

Ive been a patient of Joseph Sluka for over twenty years. That equates to a pair of crowns, a few fillings and countless cleanings and checkups. Through all those appointments and the occasional dental emergency - thanks to Linda, the office manager -- Ive never spent more than ten minutes waiting in the office to see the dentist. Once in the dentists chair, Joe has solved my problems quickly, painlessly and with a full explanation of the cause, course of treatment and suggestions to avoid future problems.

Dr. Sluka and his staff are wonderful! They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had a concern about a previous diagnosis, he explained thoroughly what was going on; not only while I was in the chair but as I was leaving the office he approached me again to explain even more in detail which really put me at ease. Will definitely go back!

The wait was extremely short, and I got the best cleaning ever. The Dr. Sluka then took his time to explain everything to me without rushing anything. Just an overall great experience.
