Dr. George Athansios is such an amazing dentist! Ive never seen someone so dedicated, professional, kind, and empathetic to his patients like he has been. He truly makes every patient feel like they are the most important person and the number one priority when they are seen, which is such a great feeling and quality to have especially considering how fast pace offices can feel these days. Many other people would just want to be done with the patient list so you feel like you can barely even say hello to the dentist. Thankfully you dont get this feeling with him. You really feel like youve come to a place that you would love to visit regularly because they make it feel so warm and inviting. He makes sure to give everyone his 100% attention and is really personable which makes all the difference in the world. You can really sense his genuineness which immediately builds your trust in him and you want nothing more to trust any dentist with a needle and a drill in his hand. He takes great care of his patients teeth and dental concerns and is knowledgeable, meticulous, and skillful at what he does. Hes also really funny which is also an added perk. He explains everything you need to know and because he is so passionate about it, it shows in his work as well as in his work ethic. He answers any questions you may have and really makes you feel at ease. Overcoming the anxiety of going to the dentist I find is the hardest thing but with him and his office staff and clinic environment, it really makes you feel comfortable and relaxed so the anxiety/fears dissipate quickly. He has many years of experience and is really great at his procedures. He really has great skills and thats such an important quality in your dentist! With his great personality, professionalism, wonderful staff, and great environment at the clinics in addition to getting such excellent dental check-ups/cleanings and dental work, I would highly recommend him. Dr. George is absolutely wonderful. I am always in a panic when it comes to visiting the dentist- hate it! Unfortunately I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled due to an infection that wasnt going away and was absolutely devastated about the idea of having to have them pulled. My sister recommended Dr. George who I called and he was able to get me an appointment that same day. The office was spotless, the staff very friendly. He answered every one of the hundreds of questions I came in with and was extremely personable. I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and cant complain about a thing (and I am usually not the one to hold my tongue!). Today - which is the following day- there was minor swelling and went about my usual business - I didnt even need to take my pain meds. I am extremely happy about that. Ill be going back to work on other things for sure. Go George!

This is the dentist youve been looking for. I only wish I had found him sooner. I came to Dr. George after leaving my dentist of 13 years when my cancer treatment left me with pronounced bone loss in my jaw. Dr. George put together an ambitious plan, explained it thoroughly and now, after just completing the preliminary work, I am thrilled to know I am going to have my smile back. Dr. George is a great dentist and a kind man whose skill and knowledge of the best todays dental technology has to offer have given me hope back. If you are looking for a new dentist who treats every patient with the dental expertise and compassion they deserve, youve found him. And his staff is wonderful, too!

I have had a horrible experience with my past dentist because I kept feeling a lot of pain while he was drilling through my teeth to get the cavities out although he gave me a great deal of local anesthetic. However, Dr. George and his staff members astonished me with how well they handled my nervousness and Dr. George does have light hands. Throughout the procedure, Dr. George and his staff kept making sure that everything was fine with me. Dr. George has been my dentist for many years and for my family. Always left with the office pain free and worry free. I had a couple of fillings done, a crown and he has extracted my 4 wisdom teeth. Great friendly environment and great staff! The office is always clean and organized, makes you feel at ease knowing everything is sterile and clean. Dr. George is always available even when he isnt in the office. After my surgery, the office contacted me several times to check on me. He is always happy to answer questions and recommend products from the overwhelming dental aisle in the stores :)

This is the greatest dentist Ive been too. My family started coming here as soon as Dr. George started in West Milford and its been the best experience possible. Ive gotten wisdom teeth pulled, cavities filled and much more and Dr. George did it quickly efficiently and with little to no pain at all.
