Ernest , he is a Great1 doctor but, he needs to value people time. people have a life and he should respect that life, by keeping the apt given to his patients. like Tariq stated in her review it does not make sense for a person to have a 10:00 apt and leave there at 2:00 pm. thats Rediculous! and he does not get into the office until 12:00pm because he make his round at the hospital so why make appts in the morning. I use to go to my 11:00 apt leave go back to work and come back at 4:30 pm because I knew the way he operate. WHY, you think the 2 secretary finally quit, they got tired of the complaints of the patient and he told them it dont matter make the morning appt. Listen my family and I had Dr. Patel for over 30 years and I kept telling him Im leaving. and his comment was you will be back. I finally left me and the family and I never been so happy with that decision and I will never go back. . My new Dr. Joyce Nkwonta is excellent and so is her staff. waiting time less than 15 min. why because she is well organize and respect other people time. change is GOOD!, I had to realize he is not the only good Dr out here. there are plenty of others. I still love Dr. N Patel but he is history in my life. To all his patient with apt be prepared to , relax bring a book, your breakfast , lunch and maybe even dinner and take the whole day off from work, have someone pick your kids up because you will be there all day dont bring your phone because there is no service inside his office.

Dr. Patel should hire another doctor to help out. Or stop over booking patients. How is that fair. Most importantly he should value other peoples time. Who wants to wait 4 hrs to see him. A specialist doesnt make you wait anywhere near 4hrs. And if you need a referral why cant he just give it to you without seeing you. I know why. I would like to see what he bills Medicaid for. Shady shady shady.

The reason why it takes so long because he is a good Doctor. He takes his time with each patient, He listens to all concerns. I have been going there for more than 15 years, I have nothing but good things to say. if you dont like it, go to another Doctor that will give you service like a fast food restaurant. Fast service, no quality. :)
