I found CityMD while working at LaGuardia airport from out of town. I chose them because they opened earlier than most (8 am instead of 9 or 10 like the others, and I needed to get to work ASAP) and there was a parking lot across the street in addition to metered parking. I was the third or fourth patient through the door after they opened at 8. Registration was quick and easy, and my name was called less than ten minutes after registration. I was examined by a doctor and had a quick throat culture taken in less than 20 minutes from the time I walked in. The culture was positive for strep throat and they ordered a prescription for antibiotics (which I picked up immediately after leaving at the CVS about 100 feet down the street) and gave me my first dose of antibiotics on the spot, along with a couple more just in case I couldnt make it to the pharmacy right away. Everyone at this clinic was very courteous, friendly and efficient. The whole process from the time I walked in, and then back out, was 45 minutes. Much faster than I could have expected at an emergency room. I didnt have insurance, so they told me their rates up front. It cost me $125 for the office visit and another 25 for the throat culture. I cant imagine going to the ER and the cost being even close. The doctor even recommend good places in the area to find probiotics that would help counter digestive tract issues the antibiotics might cause. I would definitely recommend CityMD, and while I hope I dont need to use their services again, its nice to know theyre ready for me when needed.

Great drs, modern and clean facility. The girls behind the front desk have the attitude of a hippos ass. Especially the black girl who sit on the right. I just witnessed a well dressed, professional looking, Hispanic couple walk in. The girl at the front desk asked the guy, "does she speak English"? The guy was explaining the purpose of the visit and explaining the girls condition. Sorry, but that was offensive and racist. The girls at the front desk, frown upon, someone else filling out your self checking kiosk thing. Why are they really going to refuse treatment if my wife checks me in??

Its probable that youll want a more personal experience with your PCP, as this is not quite as personal, but its a very modern take on doctor-patient relations. I visited this location (while slightly skeptical, but the reviews were positive) yesterday afternoon. I pre-registered online from my job without any appointment, and all I had to do was walk in, sign a document and provide my ID cards. Within 5 minutes I was already being seen by a doctor. Its a very quick, professional, modern, and clean location to come for a quick check-up.

I walked in on a Thursday at 3.30 pm and after a convenient self check in, I was seen by a nurse right away. They take your vitals in an exam room and then you wait for the doctor to come. My experience was very good. The nurse was kind and the doctor very professional. He explained every step to me and wasnt rushed. Overall an excellent experience. Keep in mind that if you are asked to come back for a check you likely wont see the same doctor as their doctors work shifts and rotate amongst the various branches.

I sent my mom here to get her knees checked out after being sent to an actual orthopedist who gave her escercises to do which were way to hard for her to do. They took an x-ray and actually took the time out to figure out what was going on with her knees! they told her she had a torn ligament and that she needed to go to physical therapy three times a week!! they did more than an actual doctor that specializes in this area! surprised, and very thankful!!

Very short and simple. Went for an infected wound. They prescribed a cream and some pills. 4 days later still not better. If I want it checked or looked at I have to make another copayment. City MD customer service was useless, they were no help or were willing to at least evaluate. They just want their money whether it takes 30 seconds or 30 mjnutes. Look for another urgent care, there are plenty of those in NYC with better services.

$400 out of pocket for 3 visits , three different antibiotics with no results. As if they were testing the medication on me. I had the right medication only by searching on Google. In addition to that . The front desk provided me with someone else documents which clearly state that he has STD, thinking it was mine. This isnt the place for confidentiality either

I went there when I got sick in the beginning of january. I was congested, mucusy, coughing, achy head ache. The wait wasnt bad but when they took me. the doctor poked at me a few times and sent me home w a diagnosis of allergies. I have now been sick for a month! no it was NOT allergies. I was so mad they were not thorough at all its like they didnt even care.

Arrived at 1120 Waiting about half hour then taken in for BP and Temp. Dr stopped by said be in two minutes Came back and said cant see me another Dr would see me in two minutes Now waiting another half hour to see someone Front desk says its my insurance This is BS Turning out not to be a good experience. Wont be back. Feel like leaving now.

I WALKED IN ON A THURSDAY MORNING AT 1048AM. I WAS TOLD TO CHECK IN USING THE KIOSK. AFTER CHECKING IN I HAD A SEAT. I WAS CALLED TO THE EXAM ROOM AT 11AM, GOT VITALS CHECKED. DOCTOR CAME IN AT 1112AM. WAS WALKING OUT THE DOOR AT 1135AM ON MY WAY TO THE PHARMACY. NO COMPLAINTS HERE! MY PRIMARY DOCTOR VISITS TAKE LONGER THAN THAT!

I had a very bad sinus infection and an unstoppable cough. I was seen by a doctor in about 20-30 minutes. They prescribe the proper meds to help me feel better. The care was great and I am feeling a little better today. I definitely recommend this facility to any one. Wonderful customer service. They are great!

Excellent service !! Went in after an accident in which I broke my nose. They were great. Confirmed the break, made sure everything else was okay. Took me right away. They also arranged for an appointment with an ENT in Astoria immediately, who was also great. Thank goodness for City MD!

The staff is extremely professional. I was seen in a timely manor. The doctors took great care and it did not seem like a rushed experience. I felt listened too as well as cared for. I will not hesitate to return to this location should I need medical assistance in the future.

Maybe it depends on the day and time of day but I was brought in rather quickly and then waited 30 minutes in the exam room. When you have a 103 fever the last thing you want to do is wait in a cold exam room for 30 minutes.

The office is so clean and modern looking compared to alot of offices. The staff is really nice and not that much paperwork is needed. The doctor checks up and its a qucik and easy process.
