Dr. Gary is the most gentle and caring dentist Ive ever met. He has a way of explaining everything in the most thorough manner while using words that you understand. His patients matter to him and he treats us with respect and kindness. I have gone through so many different types of dental "nightmares" between cavities, root canals, chipped teeth and needing an enclave, it never ends, and he has quickly and efficiently treated each one with such sensitivity to my fear of dental work and of pain. Its as though he cares as much about what your mouth looks like as you do, or even more. I would recommend him to everyone I know without a second thought. He truly shows dentistry is his passion and his patients are the most important people!

I came to see the dentist as an emergency with terrible tooth pain. The practice is run down and the equipment is from the 80s. He greeted me with addidas pants on. I didnt even know he was the dentist. He took an X-ray of the tooth and did a test of cold air. I didnt feel pain. He said I may need two root canals and refers me out to a specialist. I went for a 3rd opinion and was advised I didnt need a root canal in either. An educated dentist would have been able to tell me that since I had those two teeth recently re-filled, the nerve was aggravated and would eventually receed, which it did, thankfully. Id never return here, and if you want to keep your teeth, Id advise you dont either.

Had a Phenomenal experience with Dr. Schatzberg. Went there for the first time for a routine cleaning. Was extremely worried since this was my first time seeing this particular dentist. The staff was very friendly and the doctor was absolutely Great. The cleaning was very thorough. Dr. Schatzberg answered all my questions and was very courteous. He took his time and did not rush through the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Schatzberg for your dental needs.

Moving back from SF to Long Island...so Ive been thru a few dentists & finally landed with a great Dentist! Takes most insurance, but will work with you on a fair deal if you dont have good insurance or any at all! Uses the latest in technology, clean office and everyone is friendly and attentive. My Mom has gone thru many dentists here on LI, and now she has found her nirvana as well! Highly recommend Dr. Schatzberg and his team!
