I was impressed and empowered by my first visit to Dr. Stephen Wolpo and Smile Sensations yesterday. They scheduled me within 2 weeks of my initial call--good response time for a routine teeth cleaning, and, on appointment day, immediately took me in. No wait! The hygienist, Laurie, was very professional, friendly, thorough and sensitive. She suggested an easy, regular daily cleaning regimen which was self-empowering. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Wolpos combination of knowledge and humility. His suggested follow-up care was not surprising, as it had been 10 years since my last dentist visit! There was absolutely no pressure, allowing me to follow my new daily hygiene regimen, return in six months, reassess my condition, then make a decision as to the next step. What freedom and empowerment. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Wolpo and Smile Sensations to anyone who wants superb quality care delivered with professionalism and in a way that empowers the patient. -David Smith

Dr. Wolpo has been my dentist for about 15 years. Prior to moving to the Stamford area, I had seen other dentists to try to determine why my gums were so red. I was told it was heredity and there was little I could do about it. When I saw Dr. Wolpo, he informed me that I had a gum infection and put me on a low grade antibiotic. Shortly thereafter, my gums turned back to their normal pink color. Since that time, I have been a loyal patient and have gone to his office for routine cleanings and for all of my dental care. Recently, I had intermittent pain in an upper molar. Dr. Wolpo noticed a small crack near an old filling. He has taken care of this problem too. If you need a great dentist in a friendly office environment, you should definitely see him.

My kids can be squemish at the dentist. Me and my husband, too, I hate to say. But everyone at Dr. Wolpos office always help to make our experience very easy and they value our time. We get what we know are top professional dental treatments. They have a nice staff and a clean and cozy office (they change the channel on the tvs above the chair to whatever the kids want to watch) and VERY fair pricing. Smile sensations is a good choice for a family dental practice. Were sticking with them.
