PKL therapy has not only assisted me in overcoming my pain and injury but their staff made something that is usually frustrating and annoying into a pleasure and excitement. It all started when I got this constant pain in my back/shoulder for over a week that would not go away. I contemplated going to a doctor, going to get a massage and then someone suggested I go to physical therapy. I did a google search of physical therapists in my area and located PKL. I called and right away they put a knowledgeable and trained physical therapist on the phone who was able to answer all my questions, concerns, and doubts about how I should handle this pain. Due to their advice and wonderful accommodation I came in the same day I called and it was the best decision I made. After one session I was beginning to feel better and my constant pain was not as constant. I went once a week for 5 weeks and I have had no pain since. They were able to offer me a designed work out plan to focus on the parts of my body that were affected and they knew exactly where the pain was when it came to massaging it. All of the staff made it an enjoyable place to come to but one of the physical therapists, Parsa, was truly a pleasure. He is not only extremely skilled in what he does but he made the experience enjoyable and fun. Physical therapy is not usually something someone enjoys doing but when you go somewhere where the staff is caring, attentive, nice, and most importantly good at what they do, it makes for a truly happy and rewarding experience. I do not wish that I or anyone else has to go to physical therapy, but if I do I would not go anywhere else and if you do I would highly recommend Parsa and his team. Thank you PKL!

To say that your location is full of miracle workers would not be an understatement. I arrived at PKL on January 4th, following an almost lethal reaction to a prescribed medication. I came in not able to walk on my own, my wife on one arm, a crutch on the other. When I went from station, the assistants had to prop me up, one under each arm. After two weeks I was able to walk though a little bit slowly. Over the course of the following three months, Anthony and Ed, along with the always accommodating young people brought me slowly along so, now I can say I havent felt this good in twenty years. That may sound a bit far-fetched, but it is the absolute truth. Anthony and Ed made me feel like I was the only person they were treating. They encouraged me at every step, always concerned that my regimen was not too much for me. Their work on the table with me got me back to a space you not have believed if you saw me in January. They are two remarkable young men and you should fortunate to have them on your team. The young people who assist the patients are also remarkable for the care and concern they show. On the days I was there they worked literally non-stop, focused on each person as an individual. I signed up for an additional twenty sessions where I continued to thrive. If I ever have a need for PT, PKL would be my destination. Kevin Dineen

I fell off a table at work and about 1 1/2 weeks later was unable to walk using my right leg. It felt like someone was pulling it off my body, pain excruciating at times and very debilitating . When I went to a dr they diagnosed it as a IT band pull (muscle injury). The Dr gave me anti inflammatory and muscle relaxers and said to apply heat to that area. After a few days no change and getting worse. The only saving grace was they gave me a script for physical therapy, I called the bethpage office and had to wait a few days, I asked the receptionist if there was anyway to squeeze me in as I am in tremendous pain. She called back in approx 45 min and was able to get me in the same day. On my first appointment with Dr Parsa Karimi he evaluated me and his findings consistent with Drs. Only he said no heat! Use ice only. He first iced my leg, then massaged the areas of pain and felt the fibers in the muscle notted up. This was very painful I said..he said hang in there I know you will feel better. He also gave some exercises as part of my treatment. I now can actually walk and felt so much better before going to see him. 2 days later another treatment and now I actually was able to stand and walk out by myself. I cant begin to thank him and his team for all the help and continued help. Parsa is a lifesaver and highly recommend him to you all..

On your first visit to PKL you will meet with the Physical Therapist who thoroughly assesses your injury/complaint as well as other surrounding areas to maximize your time there and your recovery. I went for my first visit for back pain and they figured out the problem was also the muscles in my hip and hamstring. This is the first physical therapy place I have been to that gives a deep tissue massage. There is an open floor plan so even when I am in the gym doing the exercises the Physical Therapist are always watching what is going on. All the staff is really nice and knowledge, and its always easy to get an appointment! There have even been a few times I was in a lot of pain, called up, and they were able to see me that day and help me feel a little better! Absolutely recommend PKL if you want results.

My experience at PKL has been nothing but the best. I have been to a few other physical therapy offices and PKL is top notch. From the friendly receptionist, to the clean equipment, to the professional, understanding staff, to Dr Karimi;s strong myofascial release massage. The concept/theory of Dr. Karimi, in my opinion, is one that WORKS. I stepped into his office with lower back pain which radiated down my left leg(sciatica nerve). After following his program, approximately 7-8 sessions, and stretching/exercising at home, I am elated to say that my pain has gone away. I am grateful to Dr Karimi and his staff. Thank You.

It could be a very difficult experience needing PT to heal an injury. With Dr. Karimi and all of the dedicated team at PKL you feel confident that you are well taken care of and taking the right steps. All staff is extremely knowledgeable and well trained in their field. You feel comfortable working with any one there in both locations. The handling of appointments, exercises and care will exceed any expectations. I would only recommend PKL for someone in need of physical therapy. No matter what degree your injury you are good hands and in a pleasant environment.

I came to PKL in March with a serious back injury. I had a consultation with a neurosurgeon who recommended that I have surgery. After careful consideration, I decided not to have the surgery and instead go with spinal manipulation and physical therapy. The staff at PKL was wonderful, they not only helped me get better but I feel stronger than I have in years. The staff was very professional and diligent in their treatment of my injury. I am grateful for their efforts and I thank you again. Keep up the great work.
