We took our puppy, Kobe, to Dr Hassan on Dec 26. 2016. She was really sick, very lethargic uncontrolled vomitting & severe diarrhea. She was in really bad shape, didnt think she would make it. Dr Hassan, the vet techs & the entire office staff were a pleasure to deal with. They took amazing care of the my puppy, as if it were their own. Dr Hassan & his staff saved her life. We were able to visit her, call to check on her multiple times & never did we not feel welcome, or as we were bothersom. Every time we showed up to visit, Kobe was clean & so was her cage. If you want a doctor that you know you can trust, not get ripped off or have to worry about your pet, we would highly recommend Dr Hassan & his entire staff at American Vet. The office is clean, equipment is new & the staff is amazing! Thanks again for saving my dog!

This place is AMAZING! The staff is so sweet and educated and the facility is so clean and modern. It is such peace of mind knowing there is still a Full service veterinary clinic that hasnt sold out to high priced corporate veterinary industry. Dr. Hassan and the attentive staff gave my dog the best care and attention i have ever seen. They addressed his illness and informed me of everything to expect, easing my anxiety of the new journey im taking on with my geriatric fur son. ( he is a new diabetic) I have called them so many times with questions (they probably know my number now) and every time the attention i receive is one of a kind. Thank you SOOOO MUCH Dr. Hassan. Your staff is amazing, you guys are gems!

New animal owners beware. Im a new dog owner. Got my buddy from North Shore. Took him to this place to get his last shot and get him checked out for a possible UTI. North Shore is aways away from me and I didnt feel like driving out there epecially with this place around the corner from me. Big mistake. After explaining to three people why I was there they still gave my dog shots he didnt need. My fault for not being more savvy. One rabies shot and UTI turned into a hefty bill due to the unnessesary inoculations. They took full atvantage of my ignorance and me being a new dog owner. Will never set foot in this place again.

I brought my beagle to the same vet for years. He had a horrible lump on his back. The vet insisted that it couldnt be removed because of his age. It was more risky to put him to sleep then to remove the lump. To just leave it. It made me very anxious because I couldnt help thinking what if it should rupture. I took my dog to see Dr Hassan at American Animal Hospital and he removed this lump with no hesitation. He used some local anthestic and he is fine. I waited all these years for no reason. He is happy and healthy!! Thank you Dr Hassan!!

I recently changed vets because i was not happy with my old vet and also was costing too much and nothing was happening , my dog didnt get any better. So i decided to come to this vet because its close by me, the first appointment went very well the staff of this practice made my pet and myself very welcome and comfortable and the doctor as well. the doctor thought me a lot that i didnt know about my pet condition (vomiting, weak, lethargic ) , i was happy with the change and my dog is doing way better, thank you guys i recommend it!!!

I used to work here. I am on the commercial and everything. this practice is so unprofessional and they have a bunch of unlicensed "techs" here. you have young kids running this place and doing illegal stuff. doctors dont scrub up for surgeries, have unlicensed kids doing dentals and running blood and sorting medicine. had several incidents here that went wrong staff wise. malpractice to the max. highly dont recommend.

I use to work here as well. I was supposed to be in the commercial and I can say with complete confidence its horrible. While this place USE to have respectable doctors it does not anymore. The person who owns this practice is a horrible human being. When I use to work there he claimed to have techs well it was kids 17 year olds-19 year olds with no vet tech license. Do not take your animals here. Go to a real vet

This place is HORRIBLE. My dog died here. And i DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Very dishonest and disrespectful people. They only want your money. They DO NOT care about our animals. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. I regret not looking at the reviews before coming to this disgusting place. I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. I dont give this place not 1 star. this place deserves absolutely no stars.

I have been a client for 2 years and have had wonderful treatment and respect for my cats. My cat had to spend several days there and each day I got a courtesy update call and allowed us to visit while under care. To the pet that is healthier than anything. Dr Hassan consulted with us the care and treatment to be done before doing them and worked with us financially. I gives them 10 stars and more.
