My advice: Dont try to get a job here. I was abruptly let go from a driving job... except nobody wanted to use the word "fired". They told me not to come in each following day, then told me that they wanted me to work at the corporate officed in New Hyde Park. I was relieved, because that implied I still had a job there. They had me do an interview with the hiring manager for billing. She told me she wouldnt have an answer for me as to whether or not I was hired. And, well, I wasnt, two weeks later. I even asked them "are you sure it wasnt anything I did wrong", and they said "no" the first time. It was only after asking multiple times (because their story didnt add up) that they admitted that it was related to my job performance, which makes me think it wasnt that at all. I was supposed to be a driver for this job. The guy supervising me claims I made him "nervous". By the way, I was supposed to be replacing this gentleman because he got kicked off of the driver insurance after losing his job. I think there was a different reason why they didnt want to hire me, that they dont want to tell me. It would have been one thing if their reason for letting me go was that they had such a standard of perfection that I could not match, but their standards in particular dont seem to preclude getting into multiple accidents and getting numerous traffic violations. But apparently I, someone with a clean drivers license, and got into absolutely NO accidents with their vehicle, did something so wrong, that they couldnt give me more of a chance to drive for more than 2 days. This is not a review of their ability to perform work as a dermatologist. But I had to let this be known. If you have any prior commitments to employers, my advice to you is this: dont abandon them if you think youre going to get a job here. No matter they seem to admire your work ethic and your ability to do the job, theyll let you go abruptly with no warning.

Like a lot of the other reviews here, the staff is just not a welcoming group. My first visit wasnt too bad. I actually feel like my wait time wasnt very long and the doctor I saw (Kaleroy Papantoniou) was very nice and informative. My second visit was not the same. It could be attributed to the place being busy, but I didnt find the staff to be all that helpful and welcoming. The doctor I saw on my second visit (Christopher Byrne) was very pushy and it felt like the whole visit was being rushed. He also pushed me away from my regular pharmacy to go elsewhere that Im guessing hes probably getting a kickback from. Not very cool and the result of that was my Rxs taking way longer to get (I still havent gotten them and have taken my business elsewhere). Thats just the in-office visits. Calling this office is even worse. Ive called many times only to be put on hold for 10+ minutes. Ive called many times only to hear the person pick up the phone and hang up. Ive left messages that were unanswered (even ones to ask about why I couldnt send my Rxs to a different pharmacy). When you finally get through they just forward you to an automated system (the one that you tried first before realizing that your messages in that system doesnt get through to anyone). I usually do my research pretty thoroughly before choosing a service and yelp or google were not one of the places I looked before choosing this office. Other review sites seemed to have given them a 3/4 or 4/5 stars, but yelp or google is where I shouldve looked first. In this case I chose convenience over actual quality of service since this office was very conveniently located for me, but never again will I patronize this place.

Im not sure how you guys run this office but its honestly a nightmare to call and a bigger nightmare in person. Your front desk staff are beyond rude. They lack knowledge of the services you offer and have no urge to find you an answer. Theyll shrug you off or tell you "I dont know" and expect you to take it. Your location is prime real estate. Its honestly the only reason why I go because its conveniently located to everything I may need and more. However, the office needs major improvement. You are a business and customer service is a must. As a business, the front desk is the most important part of your overall experience and coming to the 188th street location is extremely unpleasant. The front desk is where you get all your basic needs cover and from the moment you walk in it feels like your being an inconvenience to them. No greeting, no "how can I help you," no guidance and if you approach them youre greeted to smart remarks or eye rolls. As a patient I dont need to tolerate such attitude on my free time. Youre there to work. Please I urge you to fix this. I plan on going back only because of the convenient location but Im dreading the experience. Please dont let long time patients have to go through this unpleasant experience again. Please make the proper adjustments or train your staff properly and get this office act together. I cant complain about my doctor, Christopher Burne or the office manager Kristie but other than that save yourself the trouble.

My whole experience with this place: 1. It took me 3 calls, over 40 mins total just to schedule an appointment. Once there, we had to wait 25 mins to be seen. 2. We saw Dr. Christopher Byrne; he literally glanced at my daughter and gave me a different diagnosis from the one given by our pediatrician. I wanted to trust this doctor, because well, HE is the dermatologist, but her rash looks way more like what our pedi said. 4. He sent our prescription to a different pharmacy than the one we use, and didnt really explain why. Two days later I get a call from this pharmacy stating they needed an insurance approval. Seven days later I give them a call to see whats happened because we still havent received our prescription; they say they will call me back. Eight days later I call them again, I get the same answer as the day before, just to later receive a call from the insurance stating they needed some type of review from the doctor and could never get him on the phone. I am not giving this place 1 star just because eventhough the staff over the phone is terrible, in person they are pretty friendly and made our wait not so bad after all.

My left ear was bloody on the back side. In the examining room the doctor didnt like the way it looked so the head doctor was called in & she said it might be cancerous. She told me that she could do an operation right then & there. I said go ahead. It was done in a half hour. My ear was bandaged & I went home. When the bandage came off it looked bad. The good news is that she knew what she was doing now a few months later I still have my ear. For the 1st time in my life (no one did it before & Im 80) scanned .y whole body for any precancerous spots. Using a special spray she sprayed my left arm & the top of my head. The ear was cancerous & now Im okay & if you look at my left ear you cant tell if any thing was done. The office is usually busy & you must expect to wait. Remember how long it took to do my operation. It was more than a few minutes. The house doesnt look that big from the outside but its an illusion. If you or anyone you know has skin problems of any sort, dont wait, make an appointment now.
