I have been to My Pets Vet to help a friend get her pets to their appointments now and then and I was always impressed with their kindness and experience so now that I have my first pet (Izzy a Mini Dachshund) of course My Pets Vet was my first choice! Since Im a new pet owner I had a ton of questions and Dr Brooke was so patient she answered all my questions made great suggestions and took a lot of time with me. The girls at the front desk helped me look into Health Insurance for my dog and provided me with all the information I would need. When I went back for my second visit they even did all the paper work for me. To top it off the price is always very reasonable and they always treat Izzy like shes the center of attention.. I could write a book of nice things about My Pets Vet! Dont even think about it just get there!

I have been with Dr. Brooke since she was at Syosset. I have always thought she was a great vet - but have been extremely disappointed in her lack of support in recent years. She dropped the ball on my one dog and he got worse and worse until he needed to be hospitalized. I have another dog with a serious disease and the lack of support has been unbelievable. She doesnt return phone calls and on the days she is out, has nobody covering in critical situations. The other vets in her practice are almost all horrible. Really a shame that this practice has gone so down hill. I think Dr, Brooke needs to retire as she is clearly burned out.

I transferred to My Pets Vet about 4 yrs ago after my prior vet was going to leave my "undiagnosed" dog for the weekend in an unstaffed hospital. She would have died, had I left here there. I had used Dr. Brooke when she was in Syosset and that was why I came to My Pets Vet, but I never got to see her. I started with Dr. Wulfhorst and just love her. She is thorough, explains things and I have only positive things to say about her and the entire staff. I have been there for everything from 2 emergency surgeries to routine infections.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Brooke for almost 30 years. I live in Manhattan and routinely drove 80 miles round trip to take them to her. Even with all the fine veterinary medical facilities in Manhattan, I wouldnt take them anywhere else. I wouldnt trust them with anyone else. She is one of the smartest and kindest people I have ever known. Most dogs pull on the leash to get away from the vet...ours pulled on the leash to get in the front door. They loved her that much. Your pet would be very lucky to have her as their Vet.

It is a busy place, but they always make time for a sick pet. Everyone from the front desk to the vet techs, to the doctors themselves are the best. Dr. Brooke and Dr. Wulfhorst have both saved my dogs lives. I would not go anywhere else. My little pekes both are excited to go for a visit. The love all the attention they get. I would take my boys aywhere, and pay anything to make sure the have the best care, which is why we go to My Pets Vet, but the price is downright cheap. I tell all my friends to go here.

My cat got in a nasty fight with something and needed some immediate medical attention. I rushed to her my pets vet in near hysterics (not my shining moment). Everyone there was so kind and calm. Awesome part? I got to take my cat home that day. Even better part? For the emergency vet visit (no appointment), a anti-inflammatory injection, and 2 weeks worth of meds = $150. I woulda paid the world for this stupid cat, but I was very excited with $150

The receptionist here are RUDE and angry women , every time i call to order my dogs food (which i faxed his script over from old vet ) they give me a problem. This is over a year now, and really it just seems like they are too lazy to find him in system because my dog is not a patient yet. they just dont want to go the extra step for him and its wrong my dog needs this special food. I will have to take my money elsewhere.

I chose this vet because the animal rescue I volunteer with uses them. As soon as I walked in I thought it was such a cute place! Dr Spetko and the staff were all very friendly and all smiling. I feel good trusting my cats well-being to people who clearly love what they do. I would absolutely recommend this clinic!

My dog amber loves it there the staff all love her when she comes inside they all are like "Amber!!!" And everyone comes out and pets her and she gives them kisses, I believe this to be the best vet ever

Dr. Brooke misdiagnosed my dog and he died while under her care for a disease antibiotics would have cured--and never an apology or even a condolence card!
