Do not, I repeat DO NOT go to see Andrea Grunblatt. I had to go in for pre-surgical evaluation for bariatric surgery. She is insane, rude, and terrible at what she does. She juiced me to come back in and see her a second time after my first terrible experience, and thank God I called around to get some other opinions on her before I did. She is the type that wants to make everyones life difficult and make you come and see her several times before she clears you for a simple surgery (which I heard she wont do) Youre better off looking for the magician from the The Wizard of OZ to get a psychology evaluation. DONT GO!!!!

I have been with my therapist for a few years. I have to say that I appreciate the services that I receive. While it may be a hassle to deal with the billing issues from time to time; I will work with that in exchange for the beneficial clinical support I get. The staff at Grunblatt Psychology Offices have always been warm and welcoming to me. The therapist that I work with with always provides me with up to date evidence based practices and educates me on them. She is also very empathic; as well as, accommodating and flexible. Overall, my experiences with Grunblatt Psychology have been pleasant.

I arrived for my first appointment crying. I cried the entire 45 minutes she was busy taking my history instead of trying to help me. It is clear this therapist does not have many tools in her tool box and needs continuing education. At the end of my session, where I expressed that I was suicidal, she asked me, "do you think you have a problem with authority". Well duh, but thats not why I am mentally ill. If I had gone home and killed myself the entire thing would have been ripe for a medical malpractice suit. Dont go here. These people are not qualified to help anyone.

Therapists dont work in the billing section. LOL I have copays and there are times when I pay less than I owe. The ladies who collect the copay are always friendly about it. My first impression of the office area was its small and theres toys on the shelves. I never wait more than 5 minutes. My counselor is warm and inviting. She makes me feel welcome. I have not seen any of the conditions reported/posted in other reviews of Grunblatt Psychology.

Billing has been horrendous. Ive had to make numerous calls between my insurance and the office as I have recieved multiple bills on claims that insurance has already paid out directly to the office. The bills state no payment was ever recieved from insurance. I trust my insurance over them, as Ive had no other issues elsewhere. I would recommend looking elsewhere for services.

Beware of the negative and unsafe environment created by the staff at this office. The office offers a depressing and clinical atmosphere. Sherry is cold, unempathetic, and lacks professionalism.
