Completely disappointed with how my kitten was cared for the most recent time I brought her to see Dr. Nippert. She was not properly tested or diagnosed. She was even given a medication that made her actual condition worse. After 2 weeks, 2 office visits and $130 later I took her for a 2nd opinion. The 2nd vet took the time to do an exam and test and found out exactly what was wrong. Took my kitten off of the drops that were actually causing more pain and damage. The office manager at billings was rude, spoke down to me and refused to give me a refund. She also showed no compassion and did not even try to extend an apology, completely apathetic person. This nightmare has cost me nearly 500 dollars and she is having a slower recovery thanks to her misdiagnosis. Not to mention it has been almost 2 weeks since I called Billings and informed the office manager of how my kitten was improperly treated & NO ONE from Billings has called to follow up on my kitten to at least show compassion and find out if she is doing any better. So disheartening that they took my hard earned money and dont even care to see how my pet is. That is wrong so be careful.

They killed my dog. He clearly had an infection and Dr. Nephart said it was nothing to worry about. the next day I had my pup rushed to a hospital, at 1am they called me and said my pup died from an infection that WAS CURABLE, but the doctor was an idiot and KILLED MY DOG! DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO BILLINGS ANIMAL HOSPITAL! Might as well kill the pet yourself and give him/her a good send off without any pain. if there were justice in the world the doctor would have his doctor be as competent as he is. My dog was my best friend and I trusted the doctor to take care of him. when the doctor said there was nothing to worry about, like an idiot I believed him. He killed my dog and charged me over $600.00 do to it. what I asked for my money back, the response was "too bad, we dont care." I spent $10,000.00 trying to save my dog, but the damage Billings did was so bad, nothing could save him. DO NOT GO TO BILLINGS UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING TO KILL YOUR PET!

Dr. Nippert has been nothing short of amazing. We have gone to him for nearly 20 years. He has lovingly cared for all of our pets, always explained conditions, treatments and options to us. He has also been there when our animals needed to make their "last" trip to the vet. Losing a pet drives harsh and strong emotions. Dr. Nippert has always let us know if treatment would help or just prolong pain and suffering. He is not out to get money like other vets weve seen. We drive over an hour to go to him. By far one of the most compassionate vets out there.

The staff are all very friendly and enjoy visiting with our cats when its time for their yearly shots and checkups. The vet is also very good about taking time to deal with our concerns when our cats get hurt or are having issues with being sick or other various items. Prices seem standard and they even give a multi-patient discount if you bring more than one animal at a time. There is also an older in-house cat resident that sleeps the days away on the counter of the waiting/reception area.
