The team at Kopman Periodontics goes above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for. The idea of implants can be incredibly intimidating. Dr. Kopman and his staff take the time to explain each step of the process in detail - regardless of how many questions or concerns may be had. My wife had been to multiple dental practices in the past, even having braces as a child, and unfortunately was never diagnosed properly. As an adult, this left us with few options as her cross bite would ultimately result in accelerating tooth loss. To our benefit, beyond his own practice Dr. Kopman holds strong relationships with prominent orthodontic and maxillofacial professionals on Long Island. This was particularly important for our situation, and knowing that this team regularly meets to discuss more complex cases gave us strong peace of mind that we had chosen the right Dr. It was a long journey for my wife involving braces, jaw surgery, and dental implants - and the end result is truly remarkable. Once worried about being able to eat certain foods, and awaiting for the next tooth to need a root canal or fail entirely, my wife is now smiling with a full set of strong teeth all thanks to the guidance and care provided by Dr. Kopman.

To anyone contemplating implant surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Kopman. I have been a patient since 2003 and have had numerous implants done and encountered no problems whatsoever. Implant surgery procedures and products have improved over the years but it still requires time for healing especially if you have bone inserted which is quite common. Dr. Kopman will not be rushed to give his okay to begin the process for crowns. I have overheard my cosmetic dentist remark to his assistant that he never worries about Dr. Kopmans implants being dislodged when impressions need to be made for crowns. Apparently, not all implant dentists are equal. If early on thats a worry, what will happen a few years. Dr Kopman is not only an excellent and skilled dental surgeon but he also sincerely cares about his patients. This attitude is reflected throughout the entire staff from the front desk to the medical assistants.

Dr. Jeffrey Kopman encouraged me to make the best and right decision to correct discomfort in my face caused by my teeth and help me get the smile I have always wanted in the process. He took the time to explain my options, built a terrific team including himself and colleagues, and answered all of my MANY questions. He is gentle, kind, and very thorough. Being able to undergo a cone beam scan, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests right in his office, made the process quick and convenient, eliminating a great deal of waiting time. Dr Kopmans demeanor and professionalism radiates throughout the office. Everyone is so nice, courteous, calming, and great at what they do!! They contribute to the positive experience I have there. What a team!!!!!

Drs Kopman are among the best dentists that I have ever been to. Jeffrey is kind, understanding as well as an outstanding clinician. I have had implants and extractions done in the office. They follow up with calls that day to be sure that a patient is doing alright. They make you feel at ease and NEVER make you feel badly if you are a dental phobic, which I am. If that was not enough, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the way that the office staff and Dr. Jeff handled my friend who had signifigant dental issues and was a severe dental phobic like me. They were so kind and supportive that I wanted to thank them all by writing this review. If you go ANYWHERE else, you will be sorry. Thank you!

Dr Kopman and staff are all wonderful people. I started going to Jeff about 4 1/2 years ago because I was to undergo a 3 year case involving surgery and braces and being a 40yr old woman I knew this process was going to be more than just a physical one, but a mental one as well. Everyone there was extremely comforting and helpful. I never had to worry about anything and I always felt they were there for me with anything I needed. They really made the entire process, gentle and calming and now that all my surgeries are over, my gums are the healthiest theyve ever been in my life and I am brought to show off my super "cheesy" smile every time. I owe it all to Dr Kopman and staff!

Dr. Kopman is fantastic, he and his assistant Micki and office manager Debby make for a warm, inviting, friendly office. Dr. Kopman has done implants as well as periodontal work for me and each time it was painless and dare I say easy! He is highly skilled and is always up to date with the latest technology and advances in periodontics. Aside from being tops in his field, he is just a very nice, caring person and he and his team make every effort to make you feel as comfortable and at ease as possible. I have recommended friends and family to him and I would not go to anyone else :-))

I am a retired dentist and have been Dr. Kopmans patient for about ten years. I have a family history of periodontal disease. Both of my parents wore full dentures by the time they were sixty years old. For all of my adult life Ive been a periodontal patient. Through the years I had been under the care of two other periodontists, but my periodontal problem continued. Since going to Dr. Kopman my condition was arrested and, in fact, I continue to improve. Not only is Dr. Kopman a skilled and compassionate practitioner, but his office is run extremely efficiently and his staff is superb.

In this office you will receive personal care in a very friendly atmosphere. I often judge professional care takers by how happy the staff seems to be to be working in that office. Doctors Kopmans office is a place where everyone is treated with the utmost respect and seem to enjoy working there. If you dont want "cookie cutter" implants and want the personal care you deserve, this is the place to be.

I started with Dr. Kopman about six years ago and underwent dental implants on the entire top of my mouth and had about 4 on the bottom. Dr. Jeff Kopman has been monitoring and checking my mouth since then. He and his staff are very professional, yet also very supportive and compassionate people. In the beginning I had a small problem which Jeffrey responded to on a Sunday morning. Now thats what doctors used to do. They still do it. If you are in need of any perio work you should see Dr. Kopman first.

Dr. Kopman is a top notch doctor supported by outstanding staff. My husband and I both have used this practice with terrific results. I had bone loss and infection and my husband needed several implants due to bone loss. Dr. Kopman assessed our problems planned the corrective treatment and delivered outstanding results. The office staff is both accommodating and helpful with appointments, insurance and/or a payment plan. This is "our" Periodontal office for any future needs we may have.
