Do no go to this place if you want your teeth taken care of. I was treated like a piece of cattle, herded in and out as fast as they could get rid of me. On my initial visit as a new patient, they took a lot of X-rays which went fine. The dentist then inspected the X-rays. She spent more time looking at the X-rays than looking in my mouth. She determined that I needed a filling replaced and possibly specialist work because the nerve may have been exposed on one of my wisdom teeth. The hygienist then came in and spent around 3-4 minutes only on the clean. I couldnt believe when it was finished. This was not a job well done. My mouth did not have the clean feeling you usually have after a clean. I should have said something at the time and I regret not doing that. Anyway, I shouldnt have ignored my misgivings but I did and I went back a couple of days later for the filling on the wisdom tooth. Jumped straight in and told me to let her know if it hurt. One little touch of an implement and very strong pain. Oh, thats surprising the dentist said, I havent even touched the tooth yet. I dont know what she had touched or what pain killers Id been given. She then gave me several injections. The numbness did not wear off for 10 hours. Ive recovered better from root canal treatment in the past. While the dentist was doing the filling, the assistant constantly pulled on my mouth and jaw to get my mouth open wide enough so the dentist could get to the wisdom tooth at the back. I have never been treated so roughly in all my life at the dentist. The dentist did apologise for the rough behaviour when she saw me massaging my cheek and face after the treatment. Im new to the area and this was my first visit to a dentist in NY. I cancelled my husbands appointment and have found another dentist in the area that has been recommended by some colleagues. Hopefully, well have a better experience there.

I LOVE this place. My hygienist, Iris, is the absolute sweetest person on the planet! But she doesnt play when it comes to your oral health. She will let you know the deal every visit to assure you are taking the very best care of your pearly whites! So if youre looking for a pat on the back for half-tailed brushing and minimal flossing, you wont get it from Iris. Lol! What you will get is detailed instructions on how to revive and maintain your gums and chompers, along with an excellent cleaning! Also, the rest of the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Zatcoff, the owner, is also pretty fantastic. He has a great chair-side manner, is laid-back yet fun, and very good at what he does. TDC has state of the art equipment. I just noticed they have TVs in the rooms now! The thing I love the most is their accountability. I have never been left unsatisfied! I have been going there for 3 or more years now, so believe me when I say you will love it!

I had a very good experience. Had a wisdom tooth extraction that was so painless I could eat solid food the same day and it didnt hurt at all. I had another place look at my mouth first and they were going to charge me to take both wisdom teeth out, but these guys didnt try to rip me off and said only the one was necessary. In fact, the other tooth was wrapped in nerves and if the other surgeon had tried to take it out they could have caused me permanent nerve damage! The other place didnt tell me this at ALL. Care Credit IS NOT a scam. It is a credit card like any other that can be used to finance medical bills of all sorts. I got 6 months to pay off my bill in total thanks to it and its all paid off without hurting my pockets. Also they have a cheap plan you can buy thatll reduce the costs of the surgery, and you get other perks.

My teeth are in very bad condition and I hadnt been to a dentist for about 7 years. I was thrilled by the way that Dr. Zatcoff and his staff made me feel welcomed. I have always had a fear of the dentist and figured I was a lost cause. I have started to get my teeth worked on and its really been a great experience. They know how to do dentistry! I just got a root canal a few days ago and it was so quick and painless, I was amazed. I am so happy that I found this dentist. Also, they help you with payment plans and explain what you need to get done and actually seem to care. No hidden charges and they dont make you feel stupid for avoiding the dentist for so many years. Seriously, if you need dental work, go to them! They are really helping me and Im so grateful!

Dr. Zatcoff and the entire staff there work as a team to provide top quality care in a pleasant, patient-oriented atmosphere. I am always greeted with smiles and kind words, and from the receptionists to the hygienists and dentists, no one hesitates to address my questions or concerns. I can depend on Dr. Zatcoff and the staff at TDC of Middle Island for everything from routine maintenance and dental hygiene, to more complex care. Furthermore, as a parent of four kids, the highest compliment I can give to a physician is to entrust my childrens care to him and Dr. Zatcoff has repeatedly demonstrated that he is deserving of that responsibility. It doesnt get better than this place - top notch care, top notch staff.

I have put off getting a implant for years now and finally decided to get it done. I visited Total Dental Care inn Middle Island . I was given a same day appointment. Dr.Adam was amazing he was easy to talk to and made me comfortable. I always remember the dentist as a painful experience and dreaded it thus why I put it off for so long. I went in today and didnt feel a Thing. It was painless and I was in and out in 30 minutes. The easiest thing I have ever done. The people are amazing I am getting a temporary the next day. I will never go anywhere again. The BEST PART WAS THE PRICE was affordable and they worked with me. From start to finish it has been nothing short of excellence. Thank you guys your the best

I have had nothing but positive experiences from TDC. The office staff are always friendly. The hygienist that I used was extremely skilled and very personable. Dr. Zatcoff is terrific. Sure, he doesnt wear a traditional white coat, but that is just him. He doesnt take himself to seriously. He is friendly, doesnt talk down to you, explains everything that he is doing to you and puts you at ease. Oh yes, and he is very talented. I have extractions, bone grafts, and now an implant. I never felt any pain during any of these procedures and have had easy quick recoveries. That is what matters!

I first came to TDC because I needed multiple dental implants that I couldnt afford...and I heard an advertisement on the radio that sounded almost too good to be true...but I decided to check it out anyway. Not only was it absolutely true...but Dr. Zatcoff and his staff turned out to be one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I travel a long way to get to Middle Island, but its more than worth it for the expert care I receive. I am about to receive the finished product for my second implant....and will keep going back until theyre all in place. Thank you Dr. Zatcoff!!!!
