I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. T Booker on Wednesday April 15th 2015 at 8:45am in the 95 building in Middletown. I arrived ten minutes early and settled down with a book in the waiting room. Over an hour later I decided that I had had enough and that my time was as equally as important as Bookers so I left the waiting room and the building. I was, and still am, angry. Angry enough to consider leaving Crystal Run and finding a more caring medical facility concerned with me, my time and my health concerns rather than the factory like atmosphere Crystal Run seems to propagate. Many of the people who arrived well after me had been in to see their doctors. I was left in the waiting room waiting. No one came out with an explanation as to why the wait was so long. I believe this is indicative of the type of treatment many are given at Crystal Run. To add insult to injury I called the switchboard and lodged my complaint but was asked to speak to the illusive Tara about my problem. She was not at her desk but I did leave a lengthy note on her voice mail. I would have considered a reply from her to be polite, but none came. I am still waiting for an apology in both cases. I guess Crystal Run has become so large and mismanaged that patients are not longer considered as valuable people but, rather like cattle, pushed through the mill to wait many more minutes in the examination rooms after prolonged waiting in the waiting room, then rushed through a cursory exam by a harried doctor, who must make his/her quota, and then ushered out to pay for the privilege of receiving less then stellar care. This is the third time I have been treated with such incompetency by Crystal Run as a whole. I dont believe a fourth time is in my future. Dr. Kristen Hull is exemplary in giving her care, as is Dr. Tollis. For these two I may stay a bit longer. Maybe they could share some of their techniques with your other staff. In conclusion, Tara you screwed up big time by not calling me back with an apology...and dont say you never got the message or that the system failed. That wont fly any longer.

Ive gone to Crystal Run for many years and while it was good to begin with, its gotten progressively worse over time. Ive had doctors be biased against me because of my background, Ive had a doctor and nurse actually laugh at me for making a sound of pain when they were doing a test that hurt me, Ive had doctors be outright rude to me telling me to be quiet when I was trying to get clarification on what an issue is, Ive had doctors cancel appointments with less than 6 hours notice (after an appointment confirmation), Ive had doctors spend almost no time with me (consistently), Ive had to deal with doctors who outright lie to me telling me certain tests dont exist (when they do, Ive had other doctors confirm this and offer to do those tests for me), Ive had techs be vicious with me and hurt me when that type of behavior was not part of the procedure that was being done, Ive had a nurse tell me that I better be quick about it because the doctor Im about to see has other things to do, Ive had senior customer relations individuals neglect to return my calls, Ive had phone operators put me on hold or hang up without warning, and had to deal with multiple doctors who barely speak English. A place I used to be happy to go to has slowly become one which is lacking in every conceivable way. Even when contacting them directly about these experiences, they repeatedly failed to address problem situations. I cant believe that a place I used to be happy to go descended into such an awful pit of cruelty and carelessness. I really cant imagine how many things must have been allowed to go wrong for it to get like this, but Im happy to explore my other options. I mean, really...I treat the dirt in my garden better than that...

I have been here before and always had great service, but It makes me sad to say, I had to go today for blood work (again) and you have to go to the front desk. I stood in line, and there were two women at the desk. One of the women was on the phone whom I have went to numerous of times (I dont know her name, she has short brown hair, very pleasant lady, a sweetheart) but I ended up with the silver hair lady, shoulder length.. She was tending a patient, looks over at me and says "Who are you looking for?" I said "Im here for Blood work". I was surprised when she asked me who was I looking for; then she said I have to wait. (She should have said, "May I help you?") but any way, now its my turn to go up.. and Unfortunately I had the silver hair lady with an attitude because the nice lady was still on the phone.. She ask for my name, I told her, then she said "Sorry for the wait" I said, "I didnt wait long".. then she said, "Oh Okay, thats good" then she says my address out loud, I said Yes.. then she said, okay you can go in... I proceeded to go to the lab and she followed with an outburst, "Youre welcome!", as if I had no manners.. so I returned with "You should have said, "May I help you" instead of "Who am I looking for?".. I would have said "Thank You" if she wasnt so rude... Extremely unprofessional..

Im not sure what the people who are complaining about everything are talking about, I mean yeah I feel that the practice has gotten too big too fast but I never have much of a wait time with any of my doctors. All of my doctors, nurses as well as the medical/billing people know me either by face or name. You cant expect doctors to remember your name after seeing them once, we arent superheroes. I get a call back (in a timely manner) from my nurses as well as Maryanne, who deals with insurances. Im thankful for all of the workers here like Mary, Louie, Janet, Dr. Robinson, Robin Stegman Salka, Maryanne, Alisha, Erin, Sherrie, Dr. Tawil, Dr. Perez and all of the rest of the workers there. Sure Ive had a few appointments that I spent a little bit too long in the waiting room and have gotten angry about it, most of us are adults Im sure we have had to wait longer for something else. Even if you have had a bad experience with an employee instead of coming on here and complaining about it speak to someone in crystal run and see if they can speak to the person you are talking about. Its bananas how some people think that their visit will be as long or short as they want it to be.

I was very disappointed with the run around my 20 year old daughter got from the pediatrician office at 100 crystal run road. She tried to take care of a refill but needed a doctor appointment first. She lives at college and asked for a small refill until she could get home. She was given a run around. Staff said they would call her back and they didnt. She ended up going off the medication cold turkey and had withdrawal symptoms. All she wanted was one week of medication until she could get home and she had the appointment made. When she finally got to the appointment this morning she found out they had called it in and never told her. Her doctor, Dr. Spoto apologized but said she was not aware of what went on. My daughter loves Dr. Spoto but this was unprofessional and unethical to have to go without the medication when she had an appointment made. She was uncomfortable and dizzy at school because her doctor office would not work with her. She tried to take care of it like an adult without involving me. But she said she was shocked that the professional adults at the office did not treat her with respect.
