I purposefully waited several years to write this review because I wanted to make sure that everything was truly working as expected before I chose the number of stars Id give. Here I am 2 years later and my "laser eyes" are still crystal clear. I can see stars that I never saw before (even with contacts) and Im halo-free with lights at night. I got the wavefront no-blade LASIK. I figured eyes were one of those things you should go all-out for. I chose Dr. Bindi because he has more procedures under his belt than just about anyone else in California. He also has the most modern machines money can buy and a whole grip of pro athletes trust him with their eyesite (and their careers, for that matter). I went in for my initial appointment in the morning and by early afternoon my procedure was done. I dont know if this timing is typical, but thats how it worked out for me. Because I came from out of the area, I checked in to the hotel across the street so I could come back for a follow up in the morning. Dr. Bindi spent as much time as needed to answer all of my questions. I never had a sense that his time was more valuable than my peace of mind - meaning I never felt rushed and I continually felt like I was a valued customer. To be clear, Im not a pro athlete or a movie star, Im just an ordinary dude that used to have really bad vision. At the end of the day, getting this surgery was one of the best choices Ive ever made, and I believe Dr. Bindi and his team were the key to my positive experience. If youre planning on getting corrective eye surgery, I highly recommend you consider Dr. Bindi and crew.

I scheduled a trip from abroad to have touch-up eye surgery done. I told the intake person that I had lasik surgery 15 years ago, was making this trip for surgery and was not local. She explained that I would need to return on the day following surgery for an exam. I scheduled my 5,000 mile flights around her advice, even giving myself one extra day. After the initial exam, I was then told by the doctor that, if I had ANY type of surgery, I would have to return in 4 days for the follow up exam, not one day as I had been told. I tried to reschedule my return flight, but the flights were fully booked. I told the patient care person that I could not schedule a surgery appointment, and that they should give the patients an accurate time frame for follow-up exams. She was unable to admit any error on their part, instead saying that I must have had LASEK surgery, not LASIK surgery previously, as if a patient should remember or know the difference. If she had only said that they were sorry, and made a mistake, I would be satisfied. Instead, I will find an alternative source for additional surgery. They need to train their intake personnel and patient care people so that these mistakes dont occur in the future.

Dr. Bindi and his staff were exceptional and I couldnt be happier with the results of my Lasik procedure. I had very high astigmatism, so until recently I wasnt even a candidate for Lasik. I knew I had to find a great doctor with the most advanced equipment. Dr. Bindi and his all laser Lasik definitely fit the bill. I did consultations with five different Lasik centers around the Bay Area, and for me it came down to Dr. Bindi and Dr. Hyver. Im sure Dr. Hyver would have done a great job too, but I went with Dr. Bindi because I had more confidence that his equipment was top of the line and that he and his staff would answer all my questions without giving me the hard sell. Ultimately, I felt completely comfortable going into the procedure, and everything went off without a hitch. When I went in for my next day check up, I was seeing 20/15! Seriously, 20/15, the next day. Thats better than I was seeing with my contacts, and probably better than Id ever seen in my life. Im now six weeks out -- my vision is still great, my eyes arent dry anymore, and I have no other side effects. As Dr. Bindi said after my last checkup, you wonder why I waited as long as I did.

I am giving 1 star as I cannot give any lowest star than that. The worst experience ever I had with the ophthalmologist and doctor. Im a worrier and I was terrified of having LASIK and then going blind. I explained to him that two doctors Scott Ivyer and patel suggest me not to do LASIK , He told me I will be fine , theyre aggressively selling that i should do it. I reached there at 9.30 I have to wait for the half hour to see the doctor . After Post Op Im not able to see from right eye clearly , Im in so much pain. Theyre not letting me talk to the doctor which just sucks. Honestly folks dont waste money and time over here. The service is poor and they are there to swallow your money and destroy your eyes so that patients can come again and again to them. Just be cautious.Choose Wisely

It took two decades and a lot of convincing to get me to consider lasik surgery. The procedure itself took less than a few minutes and the healing process was smooth and painless. Its now close to two years since my surgery and my vision has been stable! One of the best investments Ive made in my life!

I had a wonderful experience with this doctor. The service and facilities are awesome and the end result is nothing short of a miracle. I would recommend them to any of my friends.
