These incompetent compulsive lying con-men deliberately continue to mislead their patrons and endanger the lives of their pets. When you catch them lying and continue to call them out on their incompetence they keep trying to side-step and place blame on others. Even have the audacity to try to blame you. They are so stupid, they think you and everyone else can be manipulated in thinking their malice and gross negligence is non-existent and that it somehow is your fault. This seems to be the theme with many establishments in NYC. re: check out my other reviews. In a nutshell: I bring my cat who I thought might have a broken leg to them as instructed by their phone reps. 2x. On both occasions I went through the stress of getting my injured cat in a carrier and trekking her to the UES all the way from Long island, with the false assurance that my cat would be treated indefinitely. On both occasions, I was told the phone repair were wrong and shouldnt have told me that. Where the phone repair supposedly works for ASPCA corporate and has a higher seniority then the FOH staff at this circus-sideshow. The first time I went there the orderly told me she would indefinitely speak to the manager of the phone rep. to prevent this disinformation from happening again. But I got the same BS the next day, where I was turned away again, while they were allowing others to walk in without grim emergencies. This is where it gets very telling: the first time I visited the FOH orderly offers to have my cat "Triaged by a vet", and I accept. Then come back and tells me my cat does in fact have a broken leg, however they cannot treat her since they are at capacity. #moreBS #bias #favoritism #discrimination #SorrySirURwhite I then take my cat to the AMC where I discover my cat never had a broken leg; that she simply had a bite from some raccoon or ferrel cat that got infected. 1 hour later Im off home with my cat and a big load is lifted off my back. These criminals should be thrown in jail for pretending to be professional Vets and misleading oblivious patrons. Dont bring your pet here unless you want to be taken for a Grimm ride and like your time/money wasted.

I cant stress it enough! This is the best place ever. I took my dog in because of a limp that he had for months and after going through different veterinarians, I decided to try the ASPCA. Well, I took him, they examined him, I initially paid $135 for the visit ($90 was refunded) they gave me an estimate of $500 for the xrays and about $1,800 for the FHO surgery. They asked how much I make because it is a low cost hospital. Well I qualified for the fianancial aid and everything was paid for by the hospital. Everyone that works there is awesome. It looks scary at first because when you first walk in you see security with guns (not sure why though) but they are an amazing hospital. Im glad I found them. Just waiting for surgery day but the doctor helped me be at peace and assured me my little baby will be ok after surgery. Im not worried at all.

The staff here is awesome! Vet Matt Gordon was very thorough & gentle with my pup. He listened to me & reconfirmed everything to make sure he heard me right. Made me feel like he actually cared about my animal & all my concerns. Kizzy was the lady at the front desk who was great under pressure. She had a few frustrated people getting cross with her & she handled it very well. She consoled them & empathized with them. Great customer service! Now the bad......crappy parking. Be prepared to pay out the butt for it! & be prepared to wait..........wait some more.............wait even more. I waited 7.5 hours to be seen. Sucks that was the whole day but the end experience almost made up for it totally. Thanks to everyone for helping my pup get better! Will be going back!

Wonderful animal care. My dog had an aural hematoma and because I had Medicaid my baby was fully covered I didnt have to pay anything. She had surgery, stayed overnight, was given medication e collar ear drops omg the works. I am so happy I brought her here she got the full treatment that was needed for recovery. I am so thankful. Only downside is the wait. You will wait and wait but theres so many animal lovers there and animals you have others to talk to and your pet might make a friend. Besides each animal deserves the best care so have patience we all want or own baby to get the best care and theres only just so many drs available at one time.

The medical and support staff of the ASPCA on E. 92nd were so wonderful and incredibly gentle with our 16 year old Italian Greyhound Krusty ( long time loving companion of my late mother) when I brought him there for medical attention. Dr. Whitehead made me aware of the ailments most likely causing this aged dog great pain, in terms easy to convey to my sister and brother. The day Krusty was euthanized the triage people treated him with the utmost tenderness. Its my wish that ASPCA workers are treated in life with the same extreme kindness with which they treat others.. Thank you ASPCA

Amazing, the people that helped us where wonderful, they really take good care of their dogs. We met with the dog behaviorist to make sure we were all a good fit, I loved how thorough they were, they give us tips and now our dog Poe (known before as beijing) is the third member of the family we always wanted, after a couple of weeks they called us to check in, which again you can tell they really care about their rescues, this is our first dog adoption and would go Bach once our Poe is ready for a brother or sister

My friend, Twinkles, of 17 yrs became ill and after being seen, was given the option which was best. The care and attention that was given is far beyond compare! They cared for her as a kitten and was there at the end of life. The compassion they showed me there are no words. I was allowed the time to even sit with her and hold my friend as we said our last farewell. Much luv n respect.

i brought my cat for a blockage and the entire staff was so compassionate from the clerical staff to the housekeeping staff the doctors were in constant communication with me and my cat had to stay there for two days they were able to offset the cost so i didnt have to him to sleep. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to have my cat cared for by these wonderful people.

I never have a bad experience coming here. These are the most caring loving people Ive ever come into contact with and I cant thank them enough for saving both my dogs on two separate occasions. I couldnt be any more grateful than I am right now. Thank you so much ASPCA family!!! ❤️
