Avoid this place. I went there a few times, I have had an issue in the past with them, where they billed me for services that they said my insurance wont cover, but told me this while I was there and after they administered treatment. Weeks later I received a refund in the mail from them because they were apparently wrong. Then when I went in with my daughter shortly after they tried to do the same thing again. Recently I went there, and before I did I called to verify that they still took my insurance, it took the girl 10 minutes to tell me that she thinks so, but to come in because shed have to see the card. Then when I was there she told me that from my previous visit (possibly a year or so prior) my insurance only paid 165 of a 175 bill and that I owed the rest, which isnt right because thats over billing. I said to bill me for it, but she said they dont do that, and that Id have to pay today, but she had someone else talk to me about it. Then the girl who came to talk to me changed the story and said that I didnt pay enough for my copay last time, which was also wrong because the amounts are shown right on the card. She then called someone and said, "well sometimes we take the pcp amount and sometimes the specialist amount, it changes and goes back and forth", so last time we took the specialist amount which is $10 more than you paid, but this time we will take the $15 pcp again. They are clueless! I will not go back.

Dr Katz is unbelievably professional, caring and compassionate. I wish I could use him as my primary care MD! I have been to other urgent care centers in the past and they do not compare. The entire staff from the med techs to the receptionists to the doctors are wonderful to work with. The facility is large, clean, organized and high tech. I had come in for an issue that required blood work and 2 follow up visits. The doctors here are full time making the continuity of care and communication seamless. They have a vested interest and it shows. Although follow up is usually not necessary at urgent care centers you will appreciate the professionalism and organization when you do require it. I usually do not write reviews but I feel that Stat Health in Plainview warrants one. As a nurse I am usually overly critical when it comes to these things but I cannot sing their praises enough and will certainly be spreading the word.

I visited Stats site in Plainview for a basic physical. I was cared for promptly (within minutes of arriving) by a caring and knowledgeable physician, Dr Katz. His knowledge and expertise were clearly exceptional. I was also very impressed by the friendly staff and by the clean, modern site. I would highly recommend Stat Health Plainview to anyone.

wait time was bar min. the staff was very nice and happy, took my insurance and the doctor was profecional. with the tests that was ordered by the dr, the assistants were quick to preform. the building was so clean and there was a tv in every room which was nice to pass the time. they even called a few days later to check up.

I took my son to Stat Health today. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from the time we arrived. Dr. Katz was the best! He gave clear instructions on how to resolve my sons issue and made us both feel very comfortable. We have been to this location before, and have always left completely satisfied. Highly recommend!

Last time I went to Stat Health i had an absolutely wonderful experience! Dr.Amy made me feel very comfortable and also explained everything really well. She was open to my questions which it is very important to me. I will definitely be choosing this urgent care center in the future (:

All my family have used this Urgent Care facility over the past few years. Some Doctors are hit or miss, but Dr. Katz is really good. Now, we always call to see if hes in and only see him. The location is clean, bright and a wide open waiting area to stay away from really sick people.

Unfortunately when I went I was given a medication I was allergic to I am lucky to have a pharmacist that is on the ball. When the pharmacist called the Dr told them I requested this medication so I am assuming the Dr was confusing me with another patient. Very scary will not be back

This was the worst experience I ever had in a healthcare facility. The doctors and staff were nasty and rude. They treat you like you have some nerve coming there. I would not recommend going near this place if you were on your last breath. Im serious

Had an injury to finger that caused swelling and discomfort. Dr. Katz knew exactly what needed to be done and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Cant ask for more than that!
