I cannot begin to explain in words how grateful I am to have found Creature Comforts when I did, as my rabbit, my heart of 6 years, was very ill and I needed emergency help to try and save his life. Dr. Whitman and his staff were very thorough, sympathetic, gentle, and showed a genuine concern and love for my baby, Rudy, in which I have NEVER seen before at other vets. Dr. Whitman and the staff did anything and EVERYTHING to stabilize my baby but it was just too late... I made the decision to euthanize Rudy as he was in a lot of pain and I didnt want him to suffer any more. Everyone was so supportive and sympathetic during this time. I received a letter in the mail today with condolences from Creature Comforts and I am so thankful that I found them. I have been to several vets but Creature Comforts is, by far, the BEST around and in the future, if I decide to get another pet one day, this is where I will be going. Thank you so much Dr. Whitman and all of the staff at Creature Comforts. I am forever grateful for your support! - Brittany Purdy & Rudy Purdy

"Poor Diagnosis to Make Money" was all I said when I initially made this review. Now, later in the same evening, I see their FABRICATED RESPONSE BELOW of my budget limitation. So Ill elaborate. I spent over $200 for one visit when I was trying to help a guinea pig that was found outside after a snow storm. He was responsive but exhausted. He wouldnt eat. When he continued to starve I decided to pay a veterinarian to see if he could still be helped. Creature Comforts said prognosis was guarded and there was a 50/50 chance he would survive. He died about 4 hours later. The animal had been at sub thermal temp for about 48 hours. After researching this, I should have been told the chance of survival was slim.

I have a dog with EPI and was running low on the medication necessary for her to digest her food. Being in Massachusetts, I called for an RX to get the medicine from an on-line source so I could get the medicine so my dog could eat. This vet would not o.k. the rx. She was last seen by Dr. Frairy in October of 2014, and I was calling on February of 2015. The first staff member put me on hold so long I had to call back and spoke with another staff member who was very rude. Because they were not going to gain any money from me, they denied me (and ultimately any loving care) to my dog. Not impressed at all with this vet.

My name is Justin and I have a 100lb American bulldog. Creature Comforts by far is the best Vet I have ever been to. They treated me with respect and helped me out thru a difficult time with my dog. They understand that I am not a millionaire and broke down all my expenses in details and options. I will be recommending this vet to everyone I know! Do not hesitate to bring your pet here. Fantastic service. (I have never written a review... that should tell you how pleased I am with this place)

I recently adopted a 5 year old Sphynx cat, Charlie, and he came down with a nasty cold before I had time to establish a vet in the area. The staff at Creature Comforts were able to squeeze us in last minute and were so good to Charlie and I! It was wonderful to find such loving and attentive care on our first try. They even helped us track down his previous medical records. If youre looking for a new vet, I definitely recommend Creature Comforts! Thanks to all here for your work!

I had to euthanize my very old & very sick ferret which was heartbreaking. They got me in right away. I received so much compassion, comfort & hugs from the entire staff. They made a horrible situation bearable due to the kindness my ferret & I received & I am thankful.

I went once because my rat was sneezing and my regular vet only sees cats and dogs. My only concern is that they told me they couldnt tell if it was allergies or URI, even after examination. Other than that the place is very clean, professional and exotic friendly.

Very empathetic doctors who spend time with you and your pets. They clearly love animals and are in this business for them. I feel very confident with them especially with exotics. The love and gentleness they showed toward our rat was amazing - thank you!!

We brought our guinea pig in today for the first time. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. They took a very thorough history. The doctor really seemed to know what he was doing. We will definitely be going back.

Dr. Fairlie treated my senior chocolate lab, Teddy, with respect and compassion. I wouldnt put my trust in any one else. Her prices are fair and the value she provides is priceless. Thank you!
