I would like to thank both the doctors and the staff for the outstanding care they gave to our sweet dog Jewel over the course of her long illness. Not only did they provide the most effective and up to date care; they did so with such compassion, patience and love for our very sick elderly Jack Russell. They took all of our wishes into consideration and treated her as if she were one of their family. They are the only animal hospital that I have ever known to have the doctors ON CALL in the evenings. We were able to speak to vets who actually knew the situation and could guide us through some tough nights. Thank you all so much. Elayne and Aaron Zirker, Cara Sadel.

I had taken my now deceased calico Kalli here from 2003-2012 and generally, was satisfied with the service. But when I took my tuxedo cat Bunny there on 12/11/2015 - the experience was awful. If I rated the December 2015 visit solely - I would rate this place with only one star. The staff is different from before - all were rude, ignored me or were dismissive. It is quite probable that I will never go there again and until I move from the Rockaways, may try the new Rockaway Beach Veterinary Services. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the service both me and my cat received on 12/11/2015...

I took my senior dog here for a checkup and wound up needing extensive dental surgery for her. Dr. Baker was very upfront about the procedure, what types of drugs would be used, and the entire process. He had a very calming presence throughout, which was wonderful because I was a worried, nervous wreck. He called me several times to check up on her after surgery as well. He is a wonderful vet, and so are all the folks at AHoR! I am very thankful for their help, kindness and professionalism, and look forward to many more visits in the future!

I have been taking my animals here for 20 years. They really are great, so good with my cat(deceased) and now my Dog Molly. Shes very comfortable with them and so am I! When Pebbles passed the female doctor (forgot her name) was in the room crying with me...something I will never forget. She was so compassionate!! I have been through many vets, moving around and all but these guys are by FAR, the BEST!!! I now travel and pay the toll just for Mollys care <3 Jennifer Jacobson :)
