All of these negative reviews are completely untrue. Dr. K is amazing. He genuinely cares for each of the children and takes care of them like theyre his own. He has a great heart and hes a father himself. He doesnt mind sitting with you and really discussing treatment with you, he really strives to have personal relationships with all of his families. Hell remember if your son is on a baseball team, if your daughter plays soccer, and hell make it a point to connect with them to see how their lives are outside of the dental chair. He genuinely cares. If I didnt move out of state he would be the only dentist I would ever bring my children too. He also really cares about his staff, hes an all around great person! thank you Dr.K for being who you are!!! Hes definitely impacted my life and someone I will never forget.

Bringing young children to the dentist is not something most parents look forward to. Luckily, caring for your childs teeth is easy here. Dental Smiles for Kids is so kid-friendly and welcoming. You will notice it from the minute you walk into their warm and fun waiting area. There are always festive pictures to be colored, Sponge Bob cartoons to watch or fun apps to play on one of their IPads. Before you know it, your child is called in and taken care of by experienced and professional dentists, hygienists and staff. My kids, even my youngest, leave there with smiles and healthy, polished teeth. So far we havent had any dental issues, but I have a feeling if we ever do, they will be taken care of properly. Its wonderful to have a reputable and knowledgeable dental office so nearby.

Very disappointed at this office Dr. and Hygienist are OK. but the front desk is the worst . had to wait two month to get an appointment when I finally got it, they told me the girls needed four follow up visit which they schedule for a month later, they called the day before to cancel the appointment, following appointment they called and texted me to confirm girls took the day off school, I missed work to take them when I got there they told I had no appointment for that date, I show her the text the office had sent me and said it was obviously a mistake and there was no way they could see them that date. on top of that they had advice that they dont eat anything do to the treatment they were going to perform girls were starving no consideration. never again.

I had an appointment for my daughter with Dr. Germanakos for an exam and a cleaning with Valerie. It was the quickest appointment I ever had with a dentist. She would not address any of my concerns about my daughters over retained baby teeth. All she said was they may be impacted, see an orthodontist. Every question was answered with see Island Orthodontist, which is across from her office. Even the cleaning took no time at all. Was so surprised how quickly and poorly it was done. The front office staff was no better. My paperwork was still on the counter where every one walking in to register could see all my information. Not the friendliest either. It was the first and last time I will ever go there.

I brought my daughters there for the first time last month after coming from a horrific pediatric dentist. They were horrified to go back to the dentist. We walked in it was such a nice atmosphere and the women at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. Once my kids went back to the chair the ladies back there were all so friendly and greeted us with smiles. They were very gentle with both my girls. My older one needs braces and they were able to guide me in the right direction with an orthodontist and what steps to take considering this was all new to me! My kids LOVED their dental experience and thats what really make me feel comfortable there that they really cared for the girls.

I took my 3 year old there for the second time. She was so excited to go back to the dentist and didnt want to leave when we were done. The waiting room alone has so much fun stuff for kids. Back in the exam room the hygienist was so sweet and patient with my daughter. She even found something she would enjoy watching on TV during her cleaning. Dr. K is amazing with the kids. I was shocked to see that my daughter, who has a fear of the doctor loved Dr. K and within minutes was talking to him and giving him a high five. It took me over 5 minutes to get her to leave when her cleaning was done. She is looking forward to her next visit at Dental Smiles for Kids!

I was really nervous switching dentists when we moved into the area, but now I wonder why we didnt move sooner. My kids continuously ask me when their next dentish appointment is. The doctor, hygenists, staff are all amazing. The best thing I like is that if something is not necessary, the doctor will let you know which saves us loads of time, money, and hassle. The office is clean, fun and happy. I have recommended this dentis office to many of my friends who have also come back very happy and satisfied. Thanks for everything Dr. K and team!!

The first time I took my daughter to the office unfortunately she needed to have a tooth extracted and she was very scared, but Dr. K and his assistant were very helpful in making her feel comfortable and safe. All the staff at the office were extremely kind and efficient. Her next appointment my daughter came in excited to see the Dr. and all the girls and it helped that while we were waiting to be taken back and she was entertained by the Ipads and movie playing in the waiting room. I wish they saw adults too! Hands down best office!!!!!

Every time we visit Dr. K and staff my kids are excited to come and are always in good spirits. Dr. K is very thorough and had to fix another dentists errors from another office not affiliated... The office is clean, they watch their choice of videos, in the waiting room there are games. The waiting time is reasonable 10-15 minutes. The only problem I have is getting them to leave! Thank you Dr. K and staff for making my kids dental visits so easy!!

My daughter loves going to this office, they make her feel completely comfortable with laying on the chair and putting all the tools in her mouth. Everyone in the Ronkonkoma office is so nice and helpful. As I was making my daughters next appointment, I said "its like a party in this office" and Dr. K said "why not make it fun for the kids to come". I would recommend everyone to take their kids to Dental Smiles for Kids!!

Dental Smiles makes the entire process for kids (and parents) an enjoyable one! Staff is always pleasant & happy as well as super patient with children. The waiting area has activities for small and older children. My children look forward to their visits now! Very clean office and patient rooms. Open rooms are good for when you have an appointment with more that one child. Convenient location off Portion Rd.

Everything is good but one of people who answer phone. I dont feel welcome and her attitude is really pissed me off when I made a phone call to schedule an appointment. She doen not have any patience and really rush to hang up on you. I am wondering that if her boss knows what she did to their customers.
