I am giving this Vetrinary office one star. My reasons are as follows. I brought male cat into the office because he was urinating outside of his pan and was acting odd. He was diagnosed with anxiety . Two days later I found him listless. I brought him to Forest Animal Hospital where he was treated for sepsis because of kidney and bladder stones. He was treated as an inpatient for 3 weeks with IV fluids and antibiotics . I almost lost him. My puppy was also misdiagnosed at Animal Vetrinary Group. I brought her there because she was constantantly scratching . I was told she had fleas. I never saw one flea on this dog. After spending quite a bit of money on dips and sprays, I discovered through my own investigating that she was allergic to her food. I changed her kibble and she is fine. I brought my pets to the Animal Vetrinary group because It presented as a very clean and also locally convenient office. It has a friendly staff and state of the art procedures. I was notified by email when my pets vaccines were expiring. I considered this a comfort as this was one less thing for me to worry about. Last week I discovered that my dogs rabies vaccine had expired in March. When I called the office I was told that my dog was not given her prior rabies vaccine at that office so they were not at fault. I did submit all of her medical records upon her initial visit, that info was entered into her e -records which gave me reason to believe that they would notify me. I was then told that an email was sent to me . This was a contradiction to the initial excuse which was given to me. I reviewed all of my emails . I am sure I did not receive one for the rabies vaccine, since I never delete my emails. The lack of notifying me of the rabies expiration has created a huge problem for me and I dont feel the situation was handled properly. I am not one to rate a service . Nor do I want to create a negative profile for this business. But my pets are my loved ones and cant speak for themselves. I am writing this review on their behalf. Forest Animal Hospital has pulled through many emergencies. Its not a cosmetically fancy office but Dr V. and his staff are amazing and dedicated and their love for animals is evident .

My pit bull pistol has been going there for a long time and they are great there they always answering my questions and return my calls. Always asking how pistol is doing being he is an 11 year old pit bull. The claim forms for ASPCA they always faxed to them in a timely manner so I can benefit thr funds in return especially big dog bills are expensive who have medical issues like pistol does he is my friend and my family I have had him since he was 2 months. The staff they are great professionals and they all care about your animal. Pistol loves them they take of all his needs. They take his picture he loves that. I just wish it wasnt so costly for an owner like myself it accumulates a lot of stress when you get a large bill. Recommendation need a pet grooming facility Hyland is too far I have no transportation since I am Ill myself to bathe him. It would be nice if at holidays and your pets birthday give them some care package for being a long term customer

They were amazing. I walked in, gave my information and 15 minutes later my cat was seen by the Vet tech and by the doctor. It was super quick appointment since my baby girl is diabetic and they were very helpful and friendly. Also the prices were considerably cheaper than all the past vets I have been to. Definitely the place to take your furry (or not so furry) companion!

Theyre always nice and friendly when I take my yorkie/Pekingnese MoneyPenny. Shes very afraid but they allow me to hold her whenever shes examined. Accommodating at both locations, they send helpful reminders when shes due for her visit and offer great recommendations for any and all questions I have.
