#Worst so called Dr visit I had the misfortune to experience! I took my dad to this so called best dermatologist on Staten Island. The best I can say about the office is that its a glorified Aesthetician!!! I took my 80 year old dad for a cyst on his back wich burst I was amazed that I called at 9:15am on a monday morning to get a 11:30am appointment. As I was filling out papers so were the other dozen patients!!!! Odd all new Patients ....I know see why. we were seen by Dr. Moony to her not acknowledging us but to scold the staff. She proceeds to peak at the problem however sees a skin tag on his nipple that has been there for 80 years ignores us to leave it alone! She sticks him with a needle in his nipple wich he starts screaming! She then treats him for a dry patch on his forehead with a $350 facial cleanser!!!!! Oh the cyst when I asked what are you going to do about it she was angered that i asked to her responding antibiotics Nothing i can do(of course not thats a real doctors job) I will never go back!! If your idea of a good doctor is to walk out looking like a petrified plastered Daffy duck that that,s the office for you!! My suggestion if this is the best in the Island THEN GET OFF THE ISLAND AND GO TO A REAL DOCTOR

Well I usually nevee complain about doctors but this was the worst experience I ever had. So i came here for my hair and pimples and I heard it was good so I came in waiting time was fine but once I got into the room i told her what was going on with my hair and she wouldnt let me finish she said buy Rogaine I got pretty annoyed and I said but ik this is male pattern baldness and that ky hair keeps thinning out and coming back. She said that came happen. I was so mad i was gonna say are u even educated because there is something called telogen effuvium. This women is uneducated about hair. She should know what telogen effuvium is because she is a dermenlogiest. Im 15 and know a lot about dermatology. She doesbt know anything. Next was my cystic acne not letting me finish AGAIN.!!!!!!!! She said oh lets sign u up for accutane and i told her i was just on solodyn and it was causing me hair loss. Ik this is a chemotherapy drug but she said no its ok just take it and it will go away. I felt that she was forcing me to use it. I couldnt wait to leave. Never go to this dermatologist. Worst experience ever

I feel quite the opposite of the review before me. I have always been greeted with a pleasant staff. I have grown to know the girls in the office and always feel comfortable. While i purchased products for my skin,(which have worked) I have also gone to this office for dermatology care. I have a personal friend who can thank Dr. Lederman for diagnosing him with a skin cancer that was no joke. She pointed him in the right direction and he received successful results. As for the cosmetic end of this office...I can tell you that I have never felt pressured. The cosmetic director is educated on her products and knows her stuff. She is pleasant and friendly. The PAs are lovely smart young woman and are honest with you and do not pressure you into unnecessary cosmetic treatment.

Most people in the waiting room were first timers and when I arrived 3 people were complaining that they been there for almost 2 hours. At first I ignored it but after waiting an hour and half I got up to question it. About 15min later I was seen when I went I to the room I heard a man yelling at doc Lederman saying this was a waste of his time he been here 2 hours for the doc to tell him he has to come back. When she came into my room she didnt even examine my face as I had bumps under my eyes she just diagnosed it. I stated well how can you be so sure you didnt even examine it and her reply was I think it is what I said. I was at ore and got up and said how disappointed I was to wait an hour and a half for your opinion not even a fact? I will never go back here!!

PLEASE READ DO NOT GO HERE Never ever go here. I went here because i have bad chest, back, and face acne and she gave me a cleanser and cream. the cleanser caused my skin on my face to literally PEAL OFF. the cream dried out my skin so much that it doesnt even feel like skin anymore. the wait was an hour in a half and she only came in the room for five minutes. she didnt even examen my face she just ordered the products she assumed i needed, the products then costed 70 dollars. my sweet sixteen is in two days and my face is peeling off thanks to josaine lederman!

front desk is rude, dr has no bed side manner came in said 3 words and let her assistants do everything .. i went for acne right away they want to put you on medication that has horrible side effects and sell you their products that literally made my skin flake off my face .. my advice is go to an esthetician and skip this place all together unless you enjoy throwing your money away and rude clueless people

1. She did not introduce yourself. 2. She did not take my concerns seriously. 3. She rushed through the appointment. 4. She quickly walked out of the exam room, leaving her interns to finish examining me. 5. She did not ask me if I had any questions (I did). 6. She tried to sell me a moisturizer for practically DOUBLE the price that its worth. 7. She didnt even say goodbye. NO CARE OR COMPASSION AT ALL!

Dermatologist Staten Island is the best! After one month I feel great! My process pass easy and I am more than happy with results! They look amazing thanks to my great doctor. They are always with smile, makes you feel calm. And they know exactly what they are doing! Just show them your wish picture and you will get exact the same ones.

Awful experience.. rude front desk turned me off immediately.. then was put in a dirty exam room which had all the medical supplies used from the previous patient. Had a bad reaction to the medicine I was prescribed when i tried to call I was sent to voicemail 15 Times. I will NEVER step Foot in this office again

Dr. Lederman is the best. There arent a lot of good dermatologists on staten island, but she is by far the best. She has done wonders for my skin and Ive already recommended her to multiple family members.
