I would not recommend this hospital. Not only are the hopelessly overpriced and try to "upsell" their services, they made a horrible error on prescription medication for my dog who is 40 pounds, they accidentally prescribed her medication for a 165 pound dog. The next day I had to take time from work to bring my poor dog in for blood work. They paid for the initial testing, as they should, THEN "recommended" other blood work, that I would have to pay for. ALSO lets talk about the HIPPA laws their front desk personnel disobeyed when they opening discussed this case OUT LOUD, while I was sitting right there and they didnt realize I was the person they were talking about. AWESOME professionalism, NOT. I wish I didnt even have to give them 1 star.

I have used Dr. Eric Hartelius for well over ten years. He and his staff have always taken excellent care of my pets. Its a little confusing cause he now has two offices. Rondout Valley Vets in Kerhonkson and has recently taken over Stone Ridge veterinary. Its the same great caring and knowledgeable staff. They are amazing.

The Doctors and staff here are compassionate and courteous. They try to go above and beyond, suggesting things that they would do to for their own pets. The hours are great, and normally you can get into the hospital for an appointment with in the day or two.
