We have found Skylands Primary Pet Care an extremely comfortable place to take our dog for primary care. The entire staff is very caring and full of knowledge that they gladly share to educate you with taking care of your pet. They listen to your concerns no matter how trivial you think they may be. Our dog has a condition that needs regular monitoring and everything is explained and they make sure we understand how to move forward for a healthy life for all. We ended up at one point having an infection that required surgery. Every step from preparation to surgery to follow ups and recovery plus our many questions were handled perfectly. We will recommend this place to anyone with a pet. Our pets are part of the family and they get that. It come across in all they do and how they treat us humans to!

Dr. DeLucia took care of my 2 german shepherds for most of their entire life. I cant even begin to describe how caring and knowledgeable he is, along with his great staff. I always had complete confidence in him and always knew my "best friends" were in the best care possible. Unfortunately my Max and Roxy are both gone now due to uncontrolable health issues which nothing more could be done for, but I know their lives were extended by the wonderful care of Dr. DeLucia. I would tell anyone that if they want the best care possible for their pet, just go to Dr. DeLucia and you will get it. No need to look any further. You will know from your very first visit how truly great they are and you will be secure in knowing you made a wise decision.

I am a first time dog owner and with that I had so many questions. I googled few places before making my mind and Chiara reached out to me and immediately gave me an appointment. I felt so welcome and all my questions and concerns were answered since she (Bella)was only 11 weeks at the time.Now she is 7 months and growing beautifully.Dana calls me to follow up and she is so caring. This place is so clean and doesnt seem like a vets office. Great and warm atmosphere.Bella gets treats and lots of lovings from the staff. I am new to the area and I highly recommend Dr. DeLucia to anyone wanting the best care for their pets.

Our cat Bella was severely dehydrated and suffering from a mouth infection that prevented her from eating. The doctor and his staff took great care of our precious feline and got her back to her old self in no time at all. She was happy, healthy and her lovable self within a day of treatment. I was updated on her status throughout her stay. She also required dental work during a second visit. The doctor called several times during the surgery to discuss his concerns and we were able to come up with a plan that worked for both my cat and my wallet. I appreciate everything they did for Bella, it was a wonderful experience!

I had the best experience with Skylands! Just moving from Los Angeles and not having a vet in NJ, I needed to have a small tumor removed from my dogs face. Needless to say, I was very nervous going into the procedure. Not only did Dr. DeLucia walk me thru the entire process but the entire staff was very supportive. Once we found out the tumor was benign my next concern was making sure her face didnt look deformed after the removal. (i know.. i know.. but it was her face...) Well, its been 2 weeks you cant even see the scar and she looks better than ever. I will continue going to Skylands, and I highly recommend them.

I have been so happy to have Dr. DeLucia and his staff take care of my toy Yorkie Max.My experience has been great. The staff is wonderful,sensitive , understanding, patient and always very loving towards Max.I appreciate the follow up that they do, since Max is on medication. Dr DeLucia s recommendations for Max"s treatment has been spot on and Maxs allergys are under control. Chiara is always so pleasant and Dana has been terrific and very helpful! I couldnt ask for a better place then Skylands Primary Pet Care. If you are thinking of changing Vets dont hesitate, they are terrific!!!

I found Dr. DeLucia and his staff online while worried about my Bernese Mountain Dog. I am so glad I did. They were professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable while diagnosing my dogs problem. He ended up needing surgery which was done less than a week after my first visit. They brought in a board certified specialist while staying and providing expert care to make sure my dog came through with flying colors. Hes now doing great and acting like a young boy again. Id recommend Dr. DeLucia and his staff to everyone. Hell now be my veterinarian for both my dogs for years to come.

I never have to worry about coming to a waiting room full of patients and I am never rushed through my visit. Dr. DeLucia is amazing. My dog Grace was losing her hair and I didnt know what to do. He examined her and tested her and found out she has a thyroid problem. Shes now on medication and doing great. Hes very compassionate and detailed in what he does. He does not push any unnecessary procedures or tests. I believe hes very honest and very patient and sweet with the animals. His daughter Chiara is at the desk and shes also very sweet and so is his assistant. The office is immaculate. Great vet experience. I totally recommend.

The office is clean and your appointment is prompt. When one of my older dogs was at lifes end, they Dr Delucia and Chiara came to our home and were so compassionate to our family and our animal that words can not express my thanks.
