This office seems to not want to service Medicaid clients. I am 57 years old, with ambulatory issues and yet I still chose to walk back and forth to this office on 3 separate occasions to set up an appointment. The receptionist stated that my insurance (Fidelis Care) wasnt active and so I went back home to call the ins. co., where they verified that my insurance was active. I call the receptionist back so she could call Fidelis up and after a course of 3 hours she told me that it still wasnt active. I called Fidelis back up and asked them to fax the info to the receptionist and for over a half hour she told me she hadnt received anything. Then Fidelis chose to call the receptionist and things were supposedly cleared up. Then, on the same day of my appointment the office called 10 minutes before my appointment to reschedule it to a later time. No problem. When I finally got there the receptionist came up with another issue, that they needed authorization for my appointment, my first appointment, where no work was being done, just a consultation, which the receptionist suggested to me during one of my prior visits. The receptionist could have gotten the authorization or even requested it when she was on the phone with Fidelis. I went back home to call Fidelis to straighten this out and when I called the receptionist back she hung up on me. Then my girlfriend and I walked back over to the office and after 15 minutes one of the dr.s came out to talk to us but seemed to bothered because he said he had 2 "emergencies" in the back to address, which really meant that him coming out there was just a means of getting rid of us. They could have saved me a lot of time and walking if they had just told me from the beginning that they dont want medicaid clients. And as someone in the Social Work field I find this very disturbing.

Recently moved to WP and had to find a dentist; chose this establishment due to the great reviews. Caryl (the hygienist) deserves 10 stars. However, my time was wasted otherwise. I needed to get a new filling and was told by the office they would check with my insurance and call me back in 2 weeks to let me know if it was approved or not. Waited over 1 month, no call. Finally I called them myself; no answer, left a voicemail. Never got a call back. Called AGAIN 1 week later, left a second voicemail; no answer. Finally I went on their website and filled out their "new patient appointment" form and only then did I hear back from them (from Dr. Poznyansky himself) saying they would call me the next day. They did, and said that my filling was not approved by insurance, and that they didnt do any other kinds of (more affordable) fillings. So more than 2+ months on, cavity not taken care of, need to find another dentist. Wish this could have been taken care of in the 2 weeks they initially told me. I dont fault them for not doing the type of filling my insurance would pay for, that was probably unavoidable on everyones part and that is not this dentists or his offices fault. fault them for poor communication and slow response, perhaps because once they found out my insurance wouldnt pay for that specific type of filling, I wasnt worth their time to call back.

White Plains Dental is the furthest I’ve traveled to see a dentist, but was it worthwhile? The short answer is YES, it definitely was. I initially found the office through google as I was searching for a new dentist. Upon finding it I did some research and read some of the prior client reviews. Ultimately due to the prior clients experience with the staff and dental work, it seemed this would be the perfect office for my needs, so I decided to book an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I was nevertheless pensive of what my experience would be like, but it was a more than pleasant and informative experience. The staff is very personable and easy-going, and I was kept engaged in conversation to help make the transition between getting x-ray and seeing the dental hygienist pleasant and much less nerve-racking. Once the hygienist walked into the room I knew things were going to get serious, but to my alleviation she was very amicable, and descriptive about the examination and cleaning process to be performed. Additionally, albeit she was very professional, I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed; I was even given the option to watch my favorite TV series, had I wanted to. By the end of the appointment I was well versed on the work which had been performed and why they did it, including other details to keep a healthy mouth.

Ive moved around a lot over the past 10 years so Ive had to use different dentists after each move. For the past few years I have been using White Plains Dental and I have to say that they are the best team I have ever worked with. Dr. Eric Poznyansky is a fantastic dentist who thinks in terms of long-term care, and not filling in every tiny imperfection like other dentists I have worked with at great expense to me. I always trust that he is not doing more work than is necessary to maintain good oral health, and my teeth have been in fantastic shape since I have been going to him. If he puts a tooth "on watch", hell see how it has changed since the last visit and come up with a long-term plan for keeping it healthy, without going overboard. This saves me money and unnecessary time in the chair. Carol is also the best hygienist I have ever had. She is gentle but thorough and efficient, and I no longer fear cleanings at all. My teeth are healthier than ever and her cleanings are undoubtedly a big part of the reason. Great team and highly recommended.

Dr. Eric and his staff provided me the best care I have ever received in a dental office! From the moment I walked into the waiting room, the receptionist was so kind and professional - making sure to take down all of my insurance information and medical/dental history. The hygienist took her time and gave me a very thorough cleaning and I swear my teeth never felt so clean! They also took x-rays to make sure my teeth were healthy and then Dr. Eric discussed the different options I had to replace a tooth I lost in a car accident. We decided an implant would be best for me because I am young (in my 20s) and the screw will work just like a tooth root in my bone so long as my oral hygiene is good and healthy. I returned to his office for the implant, which Dr. Eric did himself and after a quick and painless recovery I got the crown placed. You cant even tell I ever lost a tooth! My teeth never looked better and I have Dr. Eric and his staff to thank for everything :D

My initial visit was for an emergency appointment on New Years Eve. The receptionist, Vanessa, responded immediately to my voicemail. I was in pain and was given an appointment the same day I contacted the office. I was a new patient and Dr. Eric Poznyansky and his professional staff welcomed me and assured me I would be fine and pain free until a follow-up appointment. When I left the office, I was pain free - Dr. Poznyansky took excellent care of me and also followed up with me to make sure I was feeling better. As a result of the emergency visit, I required a root canal. I have to commend Dr. Poznyansky and his staff because I had absolutely NO PAIN even after the anesthesia wore off – no need for pain meds. GREAT dental practice – WP Dental is now my new dental office after 21 years with a previous practice. THEY WILL TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!! Comfortable and relaxing environment…….
