I always go to this place for years because its very convenient and I thought I could trust them. I bought an expensive Dolce&Gabanna glasses from them and they convinced me to get a progressive lense and not only that, an HD one too. So I paid a lot of money for those. For months I have not really used this glasses because I cannot even read using it. So I went back to see if it can be fixed and I was told the frame is not really suitable for the progressive lense that I have and that I need a new frame for the progressive lense. Theyre nice enough to offer to replace the frame except the one that they are giving me are cheaper than the one that I have, tho they tried so hard to convinced me that they are not cheap. I know where the expensive glasses are, they are on the cabinets not out on the open shelves. So I refused and I was told just to keep it... for what?? My point is they should have told me from the very beginning that the frame is not suitable for me for a progressive lense, instead of convincing me that progressive and HD lense is good for me. And if they really want to fix the problem they should have find a way to do it so I can use my expensive frame and lense which are now useless. I wish they would care more for their customer than the money. Lesson learned.. and hopefully this review would make their customer service better for the good of everybody. Also ask question and look around before you buy your glasses from them too, theirs tend to be more expensive but they will match the price if you tell them. Also ask for a person who has more knowledge about what type or how big the lense would be if youre getting a progressive lense. Good luck!

Ive been coming to this location since 2009. Ive referred several friends, family and coworkers to this location because they have quick and efficient service. However my last visit has been anything but what I expected. I visited on a Monday to get both glasses and contacts. I asked how long it would take the reply was a couple of days. Friday I hadnt heard from them I called them the woman who answered her name is Lisa asked for my phone number and said she would call me right back with a status update. No call Friday, no call Saturday, no call Sunday or Monday. I called Tuesday asked if both my glasses and contacts were in Lisa said "yes they are here". I said ok Ill be there shortly. I get there only to find the glasses were in the contacts are on back order. I wouldnt have wasted the trip to pick up only one of them. I told her I called to make sure that both the glasses and the contacts were in she replied. Im sorry I didnt hear that. The customer service here at this location has drastically changed the eye exam its self was great the customer service a completely different story. When I asked who the manager was it turns out it was Lisa. Explains why the customer service is so poor. I asked for a refund for the contacts she said she is unable to give a refund because the order has already been placed. She could give me store credit. Would I really want store credit to do business this place again? No. Im astonished at the lack of urgency.

Five Stars. Superb customer treatment. I accidentally misread my prescription and paid for unusable pair of glasses. On top of that, I only wanted to pay up to $100 but ended up paying $140 because i didnt know that glare-free lenses cost so much more. Came out of the store feeling terribly unpleasant. I went back the next day to replace the lenses, and i expected to pay $40 or more to correct the mistake. The salesperson was good about the whole ordeal and corrected my lenses for free even though it was clearly my mistake in the first place. Good selection of glasses at a good variety of prices. Superb customer service and Same-day service of around 15 minutes. You dont need to go anywhere else for your vision care. Definitely going there again when I need another pair of glasses. Worth recommending to friends and family.

I am surprised about low rating for this store on Yelp. In my opinion it is the best place in White Plains to buy a glasses. I had pretty bad experience in another stores in White Plains and this place was wonderful. They has a large sample of frames with different prices. We are free to try everything in our time. The attendant is polite and patient. She try understand our needs, not try force us buy more expensive things like in another stores that I have been here. The doctor is so careful and patient too. He did perfectly my prescription. I chose a not expensive frame. It was few months ago, and I still have no problems. I think they are efficient. So, I really recommend this place.

If these pigs could get no stars, theyd get not one! Not only did they shout my personal information through the store, they got angry when I refused to let them help me stating they make no money off of my insurance anyway. Avoid them at all costs. They were rude, unprofessional, and now have an official complaint filed against them with HIPAA as of today also. WPVC, why dont you put that in your pipe and smoke it??!!! I sent a copy of these other reviews to HIPAA also.

They are terrible at customer service. The store makes it very clear that they value money much more than not their customers. They tried to trick my wife and I into overpaying. Then they delayed giving us a refund for weeks. I am close by and they lost a lot of potential business. If they cared about people, then they would have long term customers who will be happy to pay for their products. It is a shame.

My 1st. experience with this company was horrible. The staff speak to you with attitudes. Yes its a family company and they should be more compassionate to their patients. I will never go to this place again for my children. The service from the doctor was great! The faces you meet when you walk in need to be retrained on the services they give. Horrible place

this is the only place I will ever go for my glasses (prescription or regular sunglasses). they are the best! friendly, fast, well-priced, work amazingly well with my insurance, they gave me a free upgrade to glare-free lenses on one of the two pairs i ordered... in every way, they are running a phenomenal store!

Worst Place ever i ordered a pair of contact lenss and they showed up to the store around a full week after. my insurance ran out but the doctor knew he would have worked something out as Ive seen him do with other customers, yet no response he was more concerned about the money then he was the customer.

took glasses in that "they broke" and it took over a week for them to do the work....what a good eyeglass store like Raphaels in white plains would have done in a day or on the spot....now i know the adage is true "you get what you pay for" and in this case that is nothing
